Very good game, from the music and art to the characters and bosses everything contributes to creating the unknown kingdom of Hallownest.

Whilst many plot points are vague and are easily explained through YouTube videos it is fun piecing together what each of the characters mean when they confront or aid you.

After the initial release of Hollow Knight came 4 free DLCs many bringing at least 2 new bosses and new areas. This helps the replayability of the game to extend far from it's initial average of 30 to 40 hours.

Game is at least worth a try, within a two hour time frame you will have a good idea if you'll like it. However, as it is a metroidvania you won't have access to all your abilities so you'll only be given a taste of the world.
