I like the game, but as it is currently, there are just some quality of life changes I would make that would make it more enticing for me as a player to keep coming back for more.

Here are a couple of them that I encountered as I played:

1. Waypoints - Not sure why there is an item restriction placed to use a teleporter, isn't that kind of the whole point of having one? So that we don't have to tediously travel back and forth just to carry items back? Seems counterintuitive.

2. Resource Scarcity - This is just my personal experience playing solo, so I'm not sure how much this affects cooperative play, but certain resources such as high tier blood essences are simply too hard to come by and make you feel stuck for a while through various points of play through. Because of this, you end up just mindlessly traversing for hours hoping that some fodder mobs drop some or you would use waypoints near bosses to farm them as they respawn.

These two may not seem like much but it just adds so much extra grind and time which takes away from the enjoyment and fluidity of the overall game itself (my personal opinion). But I'm sure many people who value their free time would feel in some way similar.
