The premise is nice, the world is detailed and there is a surprizing amount of content. Very feel-good.

Shlocky but deeply lovable, Marlow Briggs is a game in a similar vein to the Expendables but somehow with better tastes.
It may not be the best looking or the most innovative, but Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death is inspirational.

The Witness stands alone among recent releases as a pure puzzle game. As good puzzle games should do each element and mechanic is added in its simplest form and difficulty is achieved through iteration and mixing of different mechanics in logical, but sometimes tricky, ways. The closest thing to a text tutorial the game contains is the controls menu. While game options are sparse and the experience has some problems for some computer setups it receives reasonable support.

The Witness is stunning and picturesque and its puzzles once mastered are deeply rewarding, and while some content in the form of audio and video logs leans towards nuage fare it is at the very least presented thoughtfully.
