I really like the game and the concept, but if you want a balanced experience there's still a long way to go, the resources are too scarce, and I mean everything, like money, or influence, or time, or happiness or medicine. You feel like grinding a lot to go from suffering everyday a level 8 to suffering a level 6 and then something surprise you (like disease, dying, some profecy etc) and you're back to suffering and griding, somedays you don't really have action over your chars. And if you try to rush and 'solve' everything in the beggining, still the church fines you with heavier taxes. It's just too much and I hope the designers find a more balanced *and* fun way of playing

Stop looking at negative reviews, this game is great

Played through the main quest and almost all sidequests. the game is good for many reasons

1 - It's a very good adaptation of 5e and one of the things we have been lacking as DnD community
2 - Game let's you go through the conventional dices to atribute system, but also point picking and even enables you to minimize the difficulty by getting everything 18 so less experienced players can enjoy this complex system of dnd
3 - Game let's you go up to level 10 and *really* experience some of the atributes of your character (I'm looking at you baldur's gate 3)
4 - You have a very cool faction system in which you can access good gear from one faction after scratching their backs and upsetting another faction, so you have to tactically choose who to impress to get the items you want
5 - Also have access to very good magical items as the game goes on, either by faction grinding or loot to get another important part of the dnd experience

Things that I think could be better (but seriously the game is good and you should buy it)
1 - Story is a little one sided and you have very few choices
2 - I know it's singleplayer but it felt like a multiplayer would be very fun as well (this is weird for the community as a whole, since dnd is player with a party a marjorirty of time but many dnd games are singleplayer)
2 - Randon encouters are a little too repetitive and could have more depth
3 - Teleport system is difficulty to use after you did the quest in the region (sometimes you get to keep good through a lot of doors and floors AFTER you cleared and did the mission to reuse it)
4 - Character bulding could have a somewhat more forgiving system, I, for once, did not know how important some proficiencies for crafting and enchanting would be important and got to not experience a very enjoying part of the game, maybe let people remake some of the build by paying a lot?
5 - Final encounter was not as challening and not as interesting storywise, I got many other more interesting and challengings encouters that the last one let me with the "something is lacking" feel as I went thtough the credits

Servers are made from potatoes, if you are full and want to drop items you'll get stuck in the inventory screen. In 2021, that you can expand your cloud services by clicking, this is such a amateur thing to have

Game is good, but very buggy still, sometimes you cannot change your weapon, sometimes you become stuck in the field, everytime you begin your game you have to manually increase its volume to 100% (because the game brings it to 8% everytime). I expected a more smooth experience for a 2 year game

It's very good, the community is the best and devs have been constantly working on making it better
