Combat is addicting however the method of unlocking some armours and weapons are a joke. A thousand people playing the game normally would never find them without looking up videos on how to obtain them. Sometimes its locked behind random map generation where you don't find the structure you need or they're like... press up up down square, jump through the water fall, clip through the hidden door while upside down then draw a d*ick on the wall to reveal the chest.

This would be a perfect game however the combat alone is too infuriating and it doesn't matter how good you are at similar dark souls games.

The perfect guard system is not generous at all; timing is smaller than that of Sekiro's parry and enemies will often continue their combo regardless. However the real issue is using this system against enemies that are intentionally made to be unpredictable.
Their attacks will come out near instantly with no fluid animation as if they had a random muscle spasm and other times their attacks are delayed greatly to make you guard prematurely. Unblockable attacks are made to also be undodgeable for some dumb reason so your only option is to get lucky with your perfect guards or just run away.

This perfect guard system would work just fine if enemies attacked normally much like your character does.

DBD has by far one of the worst communities which alone ruins this otherwise enjoyable and addictive game. Everyone I know who plays this game comes out of it in the darkest of moods due to an alarmingly large amount of the player base being excessively toxic and competitive in a game that shouldn't even be competitive in its current state.
Much of the community cannot resist the urge to taunt and toy with their opposition whenever in the position to do so and it results in a lot of early disconnects and flaming.

Progressing through the main story is by far the most enjoyable part of the game, however you are often forced to grind through boring repetitive/recycled missions along the way which feel like an unnecessary chore that kills the momentum.
The combat is full of cheese. For example you can die instantly at full health to death magic or standard attacks that inflicts death on chance making immunity to it a must.
For some reason you but not your enemies, are capped as to how much health you can have and damage you can deal without taking up two of your four items slots for items that specifically bypass these pointless restrictions.
I found myself only enjoying the game half of the time whilst occasionally ranting about how horrid the combat is in terms of balancing.

Similar to the dark souls series but with a few additional combat mechanics which add more complexity and enjoyment.
Unfortunately this game does have a few major flaws which include:
-Even the weakest human enemies in the first level will deal roughly five times more damage to you than you do to them. It doesn't make any sense for this and it's the wrong way to go about making a game difficult.
-If you decide to engage in co-op, just know that 50% of the time you will get some insufferable teammate with overpowered endgame gear running ahead, one-shotting every enemy and boss without being considerate as to how much they're ruining the game for you in their attempt to flex.
-The story is entertaining but nothing impressive; it's nice to watch the cut scenes but this game is not known for its story.

Easily one of the best story games in existence right now; an emotional roller-coaster. I became far too attached to the world and it's characters that I could not stop talking about it even weeks after finishing the game. Personally I believe this game deserves just as much attention as Undertale if not more so.

Early Access Review
Edit: Most of the community has moved to Resonite and are trying to destroy this platform out of spite that they could not drive the CEO of Neos out of his own company twitter style.

The former CTO and devs have rewritten history using their army of brain dead zealots that collectively scammed even some of their own people through encouraging the purchase of NCR and later ditching it while pinning the blame on the CEO.

For Honor has an enjoyable campaign that unfortunately has been discontinued and retains outdated combat.

The once addicting combat system has becoming nothing but rock, paper scissors ever since they sped up every attack to the point that 90% of the playerbase cannot react to them. Those on the offense spam light and unblockable attacks because only a few inhuman people can counter them while those on the defense spam dodge attacks because they don't have time to register what kind of attack is coming their way even if they know the move-sets of every character.

This could have easily been an amazing and popular game if they:
-Continued the campaign to revolve around the new characters.
-Kept most attacks within react-able speeds whilst focusing more on mixups or other methods to break through a strong defense.
