Turkish player here. At this rates, it is not worth paying for a subscription or buy any plex as it is too expensive. It MAY be worth it if they cut the prices like 50%. The purchasing power of Turkish people have dropped a lot in the last few years, and paying a monthly fee of the price of a triple A game every month is ridiculous for such and old and niche game as EVE.

Been following this for a while now, and it plays as you'd expect. It's a great homage to HOMM3 and with the plus side that combat is much better. Definitely recommend.

Negatives:
  • Very grindy (i suggest using a save game editor to cut some of the grind)
  • Space exploration is not realistic (asteroids are literally everywhere and close to each other and you can't land on them. There are no solar system mechanics; meaning no eclipses and no comets. No gas giants exist in the game and also other space stuff like nebulas, neutron stars, pulsars etc are not in the game. There are black holes but they are glorified portals and they dont have an event horizon.)
  • There is literally 1 model for every space station.
  • There are 3 races in the game but they don't have civilizations, meaning no cities.
  • Stars and planets feel very samey although literally none of them are the same.
  • There is no meaningful purpose in the game and everything feels like a chore. Building a good base or getting the best S class fighter means nothing and leaves you with a feeling of "uh... ok cool."
  • Space combat is boring and VERY surface level.
  • Exocrafts have no use. ExoMech is impossible to use because it can't change direction without moving forward for some reason. I understand why they implemented the exocrafts but they did not balance the game in that regard so they offer nothing of value.
  • Updates are very surface level like "volcanoes", "giant worms" or "a living ship!". I understand that Hello Games are a small developer but still, all these features should have been in the game at launch, and much more satisfying stuff should have been added later with paid DLCs.
  • Base complexity has a lot of issues, game has issues loading a lot of parts all at once. Sometimes you fall through floors because they don't load fast enough, other times some elements like lights or decals never load etc. (big base problems.)
  • Game is very lonely and can get depressing with all the reminders of impending death (extreme night temperature - thermal protection falling - warning: incoming storm - sentinel force activated - shields depleted etc) and especially the story.
  • Although procedural generation is good, there are not enough parts in my opinion to make really distinguished visual styles. In my opinion, they should have added many more parts for procedural generation to combine, and limit their usage styles based on maybe 1000 light year intervals so the more you move towards the center, the gradual change in visual style would motivate the player to seek what else might be out there. Ships and planets feel very samey.
  • There are still bugs, especially with terrain editing and resource spawning. For example if someone has an excavated base, you might find it buried underground, or if you don't, there will be rocks floating where the surface used to be.
Positives:
  • Moddable.
  • Smooth and fun gameplay.
  • Feeling of awe and wonder.
  • Complicated crafting system.
  • Good trading foundation is in the game (there are systems with different economical focuses which you can exploit to gain money) although a little surface level, could be expanded upon in the future.
  • Fun playing with friends.
  • Unique game implementation (half online half offline, local save but serverside discoveries and bases etc.) Some people might list this in the negatives but because there is no competition and structured pvp in the game, editing of local saves don't affect other players.
  • Freighters are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool. Watching them jump into the system and battling around them are fun, and they give a sense that there is life and activity in the galaxy.
  • Procedural generation is very good. Animals and plants are so many.
I think negatives outweigh the positives in this game, but I still recommend because you will get your money's worth of entertainment.

Cool to teach about spacefaring to teenagers, but I found this to be a little simplistic. Was expecting more detailed missions. Still can recommend though.
