Arma 3 is a great game. I have spent hundreds of hours just in the editor playing out my own scenarios and setting up different situations. My skills in the editor have come a long way from when I started playing.

On the other hand the multiplayer is decent. I see videos of Arma clans playing out different scenarios which makes me want to go play with others. I get on a server and its just like 5 guys trolling and 2 people trying to play seriously while everyone talks over each other. The campaign is pretty generic for a fps/3rd person shooter. The DLC adds some great side stories to the campaign but or mostly there to get players used to the new vehicles/weapons they added.

The modding community is amazing. Arma has one of the biggest workshop pages on steam and has kept me busy in Arma for years. Its great to see how far a modding community can push a game. From adding a Arma 3 version of dayz and other amazing game modes to the hundreds of units and vehicles from miilitaries around the world. The modding community has done great things with this game and I hope they continue.
