I have as of writing this Review: 277 Hours in Legion TD 2.

I played Warcraft 3 custom games a lot growing up and I honestly was never really into the Tower Defense Games tbh. I more often found myself playing Vampirism (so much so I helped beta test and gave design input on some of the more popular versions towards the end), and Special Skirmish Maps.

Legion TD 2 is a game I got from a whim purchase on a roulette a Discord was doing for Game Codes.

I got it and then left it in my library unplayed for probably a year or so.
Then I got bored one day and Was scrolling through my library to find this game.
Installed it, played some games, liked what I got.

There is a large variety of defenders (Not a Static Tower Defence!) from 10 different "Factions" and some unique to a special Defender Faction Pick called "Mastermind". Each faction has a a few of each type of defender, DPS/Tank/Utility/Multirole.
there are 21 waves of different creatures not reskins of other creatures. Though There are also quite a few Mercenaries players can send at their opponents. Over 20 at least, and they fulfill many niche's.
Some are purely Eco (increases your per round income the most efficiently) or green, these are ment to build your income, though getting an Eco Leak always feels nice in the later waves.
Others are Pressure (Stronger Mercenaries whose trade off is decreased Income incentive) or as I call them "Red" mercenaries. Sometimes you want to send one or the other, sometimes you have so much mythium you can send both lol.

There are also 3 PvP modes. 2v2 Ranked, 4v4 Classic, and Custom.
1 Base Game PvE Campaign which just got overhauled along with the New Player Tutorial and general experience.
1 Expansion Pack PvE campaign. Though if someone in the party owns the campaign, up to 3 others can play the levels for free which is awesome.
Both Campaigns have 2 levels of Difficulty, as well as a special mission to get 3 stars on it. You are rewarded with In game currency for beating each difficulty level, on top of Some of the End Bots being truly a test for anyone who hasn't put a good amount of hours in already.

277 hours later I have a Guild full of some of my friends and we are inching ever higher in Guild Contribution in an almost juvenile ♥♥♥♥ measuring contest.
Any time someone picks up a card in game its huge Enemy or Ally, gratz all around.
Largely not a toxic community unlike many other games.
Devs that actually do seem to care a lot about their game.

It's honestly just nice having a game I don't have to worry is going to get suddenly P2W or Microtransaction Hell or some crap. No issues, just me and my coop losing horribly in the 4v4 mode and still enjoying it.

Solid game. Approved by Chickens.
