Tryna get Cuno hooked on the book?!

It's the Star Wars game we've been asking for since Battlefront. It's souls-like, with metroidvania elements. It's got bosses, mini-bosses, exploration. Stop reading reviews, get the game (preferably during a sale), and HAVE SOME FUN.

RATING: 7/10

Call of Cthulhu does a pretty fair job telling its story, with no glaring hiccups from what I've seen. Sure, voice acting isn't the best, and yes, it is a bit of a walking simulator, but if you're looking for a casual psychological-horror game, this is it. With only 14 chapters (some so short if you blink you'll miss them), it does it's job right in showing your character's descent into madness, as you face off against things you simply can't comprehend.

Of the few complaints I have, the biggest are,
-Some characters are just plain forgettable.
You'll be playing through and run across good ol' so-and-so, and think "Oh yea! He's been here since the beginning!" This is mostly true for supporting characters.
-Character animation.
My god one of my biggest pet peeves is that horrid mouth movement that just doesn't match any form of speaking, let alone line up with the actual dialogue. (which IS on a loop in certain sections, if you were wondering.)
-Slow-Paced.
Yes, I know that this isn't supposed to be an action-packed game, but it IS a psychological-horror game. There should be tension pretty steadily throughout, at least in my opinion. expect a few lulls in the story as you go through.

And finally, my biggest pet-peeve of all, GRAMMAR. THIS IS A GAME THAT YOU EXPECT PEOPLE TO PAY MONEY FOR. IT'S NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR AT LEAST ENOUGH POLISH THAT THERE WON'T BE SPELLING AND GRAMMAR ISSUES SCATTERED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE GAME.

Valguero is hands down, the worst map to officially come out for Ark. The first thing you'll notice when you start on the map, is the TERRIBLE dino spawns. You'll find Giga's in the forests, on ground level, not on mountain tops, rexs raptors and carnos along all waterfronts, and basically everywhere else. spawns are EXTREMELY broken. I'm all for a challenge, Abberation is my favorite map, but this isn't a challenge, this is broken.
Once you learn these new, awful spawns, and start building, you'll quickly learn that resource spawns are just as screwed as dino spawns! I've searched the majority of the map, and found absolutely zero rich metal nodes. none. sure, there are the basic crap nodes, but to find a decent amount of the them, you better search the edge of the map, in the worst places. Crystal & Obsidian are rare too, but not as bad as metal.
This map is designed as an Alpha-Tribe's wet dream. They can come in, claim these few resource locations, and essentially make you BEG to use get resources.

But hey, it's a pretty map, right?

This is the kind of game that you could sink hundreds of hours into, grinding and growing, mastering its toxic fields, only to have a fresh spawn kill you as you leave your base, with a double barrel they were lucky enough to find in a box. Or, you could be the fresh spawn searching for that EZ loot.

Either way, there's an L96 pointed at your head. 10/10 would buy again.
