Amazing. Great bosses, great exploration, great new items and spells. Very cool.
Took me 70+ hours to clear it and I am sure I forgot things.
Didnt have any performance issues but I hope they fix em for those that do so that everyone can enjoy this.
Difficulty... yeah the last boss was tough but I experimented a bit and then I got it. oh well and the first bosses as I havent played Eldenring in like a year before I jumped into the DLC so thats to be expected.
Very fun. big recommend.

Early Access Review
TLDR:
Avoid if you are prone to FOMO, Sales and other bait methods. This game employs every method in the book to get you to spend money.
If you are not affected by the things above you will receive a fun CCG.
---
F2P and Beginner advice:
-dont use your wild cards until the amount of unowned cards and wild cards is equal.
-focus on one faction campaign of choice
-do your daily free drafts and resign at 3 wins. There are strong diminishing returns on winning more unless you can make 12 victories.
-premium drafts have different rules attempt to play em out. (the black crystals)
-Do your dailies to unlock the weekly chests which gives u packs, crystals and premium draft access.
-Winning in multiplayer also yields crystals so if you want to grind grind there.

---

I got the change I wanted so Ill change my review from negative to positive but with the aforementioned caveat.

I really want to be able to recommend this game but I cannot.

First off: This game is f2p and as every digital CCG to ever exist it is pay2win / compete faster.

This is not a game you can play all day, it is designed to be enjoyed 1 hour a day at most (atleast if you are f2p and/or don't play for rank 1 on ladder). I am having a good time playing this game which is partly to the gameplay itself and mostly the franchise its in.

So why am I not recommending it then?

This game does not respect your time in the slightest. The daily login "reward" and the daily draft reset only after you claim them and NOT at a specified time which results in it being claimable a few seconds later each day effectively losing you "rewards" the longer you play.
There is no stacking of these events so if you don't log in each day they just disappear so you better claim those "rewards" every day at the same exact time or lose a few seconds.

This is a minor issue but my main gripe is the paid campaigns: If you purchase a premium campaign you also receive a > daily "reward" < that falls under the same pitfalls as other daily "rewards" and I am not paying 20 moneys to potentially miss out on what I paid for just because of the devs complete disregard of player time.

So unless you set a clock and login each day I advise against spending money for this game which is a real shame because the game is fun and enables you to play a solid card game version of the Warhammer franchise.

So until daily "rewards", at the very least the paid ones, do not stack to a fixed number like atleast 2, so you don't lose precious seconds each day, I strongly disadvise from paying for it.

If you just want to have a good time with a f2p game and not worry about anything go ham this game is fun after all.

I hope the devs change how they work with player time so I can give this game a thumbs up later in its life.

TLDR for devs:
Daily login system is ♥♥♥♥. Feels really bad to lose a few seconds every day because of how the clock only resets after claim. Even worse that its the same for the paid content. I will not pay to feel bad about my purchase. Give me the option to pay for convenience. I recommend adding this convenience into the premium campaigns to give a bigger incentive for a purchase. You know once they did their first purchase the next ones come easier.
Dont make your potential customers feel bad about purchasing from you!

its a open world game. One of the better ones. Aloy is a great character. no repetitive open world filler. game runs smooth AF. This game is a technical marvel.
story suffered compared to the first game but its still good enough.
missing some QoL features. Harder difficulties can feel bulletspongy but you can just lower the difficulty at any point to reduce enemy HP.

horribly mid game.
all options to reduce nausea were intentionally removed from the devs. this is the only game, in my 1000 steam game library that gives me motion sickness and the devs removed all ways to increase FoV through 3rd party tools. This is a technical disaster on top of a horribly mediocre game. Wasnt even worth the 15 bucks I paid for it. Absolutely do not touch this garbage.
