Salt 2: Shores of Gold is a chilled game of exploration. Your ship is your home. In a procedurally generated world you can sail and explore to your heart's content. There is danger on the islands, sometimes unexpectedly. There are caves to explore but you never know what will be waiting for you in them. Tons of crafting to do, resources to harvest, and skills to level up.

I recommend you enter the world of adventure and purchase this game :)

Arr!

I, Ragnar Dirtbrok, a viking legend if do say so my self, highly recommend this game. It does not hold your hand. It is a dangerous world. I am leaning as I go by making mistakes plus trial and error. That said, this game gets the adrenaline pumping when the unexpected happens. It has foraging, building, leveling skills by doing, and trying to stay alive, and more.

Now if I can find my Lagertha and get this village rolling :)

Have you bought this yet?

After 29 hrs. of play I finished my first run. Fortunately you can continue on with your character or try one of the others. You will die often, it is inevitable. You round a corner or open a door and death will meet you. However, dying isn't that bad in this game. You are incentivized to go after the big guys as they often drop good/great weapons. I will definitely be playing this again with another character.

I like this game. I have almost 200 hrs in it. There are 5-6 base classes (can't remember exactly) which you can level up a multitude of ways through their skill trees and masteries. It's a good game if you are number crunching min-max character builder. I am not. I finally got my Necromancer to around lvl 56 and now have run into a boss I can't seem to beat. More me being to slow to react. I will keep playing though, and maybe one day I will figure out how to win (unlikely).

I highly recommend this Saints Row game (or 4) over any of the more recent versions. It is hilarious over the top fun. If dumb people do it in real life, it's in the game. And all the stuff even dumb people won't do is in the game.

I don't write a lot of reviews. I have only played 3.7 hours as of this writing. I have played many RPG games, died countless times. However, in this game dying is a part of the game that makes it unique and different. I heartily endorse this game to all. I have spent a lot more on other games and had less fun in more hours.

I have already been killed by a boar, turned into a werewolf, stolen from villagers because I wasn't paying attention, and more. Go get this game!

I am Kevin Costner, the star of countless movies like "Waterworld" and I approve of this game. Commander Shepherd also approves. People that have not yet seen it will approve. I can breath underwater effortlessly due to the gills in my neck. I rode by the set of some TV show named "Yellowstone" and they included me in it and my wife divorced me. I approve of that too.

After 5 hrs. of play I can say I love this game. After a busy day of passing Kidney stones, few things relax me like killing zombies. You know, I never cared much for folks obsessed with running, but I hate running zombies.
Excuse me, I feel another Kidney stone (or zombie) coming.

Finished the main story today. It was a lot of fun. I confess to using WeMod to play the game as I am eye hand reflex challenged (I have none left). I did not like the ending however, and that probably will keep me from playing a second time. If you like a lot of action and exploration with companions that die often, This is your game.

Not fun. Does not in any way come close to the original Master of Magic.
