Hopefully 10,000 hours in this game is enough to have an opinion of it. I gotta say it is a pretty dam good game. Play it long enough and you create some amazing memories. There of course is the cancerous side of it, but you can ignore that. There is a gamemode or server somewhere within this game that you will enjoy, it is just the matter of finding it.

It is both a blessing and curse to play this game that is for sure. The culture of it can be very 'interesting' at times.

But to sum up my full opinion of it is this game is like a crack addition, you just need more of it even when you could be doing better. I could be off working in a modern game engine creating a whole game from the ground up, but instead I am doing hacky work arounds in a game using a engine from like 2004 to make some small little server that possibly never gets many players.

But yeah, play this game, you probably won't regret it, and if you do then I will personally apologize for you choosing the wrong gamemode.
