I am not exaggerating when I say I think this is still the most interesting multiplayer game to have ever existed, with it's careful consideration into everything, including but not limited to: Silhouettes for each class, interesting sidegrades, their distinct personalities and it's timeless artstyle. I have yet to see another game that makes classes with separate weapons that are as interesting and comprehensive as tf2's weapons and their very varying stats, from silly knockback to utility, to mobility and allowing freedom of improvising in unintended, but incredibly creative ways.

If you got this far, you might think "Hello random dork on the internet, did you misclick the not recommended button?". No, Not at all.

In it's current state, while I'm not entitled enough to believe we need to force writers to finish the lore, even though that would be just lovely, I know firsthand how it feels when you wanna do something and someone asks you to do it instead. However, we as a community which have exploded this game beyond it's boundaries and made it about as much our thing as Valve and have supported it for this long without being tired of it, are entitled to a functioning and a *as promised by valve and the store page* constantly updated game even if it's just hotfixes, patches and optimization.

I don't claim to know the percentages of what people want added, whether it be content or anything else, but I do know that most of the community would AT THE VERY LEAST be content with an overhaul of the anti-cheat and harsh punishing of bot hosters as well as prevention and transparent communication from valve about what they're working on.

I propose that they make it a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly thing to update us on what they're working on so it doesn't feel like we're talking to a neglectful, cold parent.

I love this game to death, but I can't support it in it's current state and that makes me sad as well as disappointed.

Regards, A fan since 2011.
