only ever played JA2 BIA which I know wasn't recieved as well as the other games, but overall this game seems to have a lot of the same positives I loved from that game.

Pros: comedic dialogue, pretty brutal and dynamic combat with a lot of options.

cons: would love to see the option of playing Ja2bia style quick pause and que up commands as I personally prefered that as it felt faster pace and a lot more fluid than turns, SMGs have an outright pathetic effective range, oh and the store doesn't reliably have ammo types or weapons to shoot what they do have stocked which is a little frustrating, oh and some of the voice actors IMO don't quite fit the characters they're voicing, Raider in particular.

Brutal, game leaves you feeling almost as helpless and outnumbered/outgunned as I'm sure the actual Marines were in the events the game is based upon.

as a regular arma3 player for a few years now with a milsim community I thought I had decent cqb skills but nope, the game is definitely a learning curve even if you're experienced in similar games and milsim fans are here for it!

feels a little more clunky on the UI for some reason to it's predecessor despite far as I can tell being basically the same UI, but loving the game so far and how there's an actual campaign story, now we just gotta hope we get some awesome mods to take this game to the next level

Fun little sandbox chocked full of British references, however the building system still has a few kinks to it that need polish like being able to mortar properly in all the gaps as well as pick up side mortar when it's accidentally on the end of a wall, more variety of materials and furniture would be an awesome improvement to the depth of the game that could perhaps even be a matter of mod support.

paid money for this game, honestly wasn't worth the money, maybe ok as a free to play

great fun to drop in as a casual and help where needed just as much as I assume it is for those that go hard into keeping Us mere cogs greased in a more dedicated capacity, additionally it works incredibly on steam deck, in my case I love to utilise the gyro control to help me get on target quicker while using the touchpad for the finer aiming, elbows tucked in for greater stability, some minor issues getting getting the mic to work but I think that's more my bluetooth headset being weird, plus the graphics being pretty simple you don't really loose much of the gameplay, just text is a bit smaller.

as far as criticism goes I wish it was made easier in-game for logi to be requested since it often seems like behind the front supplies are frequently depleted and end up causing a snowball if the defensive line is broken, also I kinda wish the bayonets were usable on more weapons as well as being able to melee more readily

had the old facerig, personally I think the old avatars aren't as well optimized as they could be for animaze but overall the software works, make sure you have good lighting but it does still work on my decade+ logitec webcam

I would say to take the minimum hardwear requirements with a pinch of salt.
used to run great besides the occasional avatar, but since the update it would appear that the game is notably more hardwear intensive now and was even having issues joining worlds that are clearly populated so I don't see how the world could be the issue, I'll probably still use it to hang out with friends I can't otherwise meet but less so than I have before until they fix these issues that appear to relate to the latest update and logically makes sense that adding a bunch of "anti-cheat" in the background is gonna up the hardware usage.
