Street Fighter finally has a real cinematic story mode!

The story they made is actually pretty commendable. The entire purpose of the story is to explain how Shadaloo fell and to link the general story to that of Third Strike and it does this competently

The good:
- Every single character in the roster is involved and gets some time to shine (even the new ones)
- Even if you haven't purchased the dlc characters, you still get to play as every single one of them during the story
- You actually get to fight some NPCs like Shadaloo Goons and even The Dolls (who actually have special moves)
- The storyboard-like art from the character stories does not appear in the story mode as everything is 3D-rendered

The not-so-good:
- Some of the character models definitely weren't meant to be zoomed in on but the story has plenty dramatic zooms
- Some crazy clipping / hair physics occur during key story moments (also due to the fact that the models were made mainly for the 1 on 1, 2D fighting)
- I'm not easily bothered by voice acting but the English voices aren't all of high quality

Conclusion:
The story is definitely worth your time. I heard people saying this one isn't as good as the Mortal Kombat story modes but just keep in mind that Street Fighter is a game about crazy stereotypes beating each other up and not something that already had a deep and established lore. The base game definitely needed something like this to make a more finished product and to make Street Fighter V feel more like the next step in the franchise. Let's just hope we get a basic arcade mode next.

I was willing to defend this game up until now. The port was bad but it was slowly being fixed. The character roster was smaller than MK9 but the characters were really fun and interesting. The DLC was expensive but at least we got some really cool additions to the roster. The micro-transactions sucked but they weren't forced on you that much. Most important of all, the game was a lot of fun.

But now they've completely betrayed everyone who bought this game on PC All future content for this game is not coming to the PC version. That means no new characters, no new stages, no new skins and people who played competitively on this version are now at a permanent disadvantage compared to people who bought it on console.

This game is now officialy abandonware and I feel completely betrayed. I suffered through this mess for a long time and now they just gave up on us. The terrible launch was an omen for what was to come...

If you still decide to purchase this game, you are supporting everything that is wrong with the current gaming industry

Be VERY careful before judging this game.
Eventhough it looks like a cheap phone game with plain, dumb controls, it surely is not!

If you are into arcade-like games with rhythmic and muscle-memory like elements that provide a high chance of addiction, this is the game for you. Just two buttons might seem simple but you'll soon learn to love this mechanic as you are slaughtering hoards of nazis with intense focus.
