I think was I one of the last hold-outs who was willing to give them a chance to make this game a proper Company of Heroes title.

The foundation is there for something potentially brilliant, but the developers don't seem to care about that. It feels like they're getting fixes done as and when. There's no urgency to issues that should have been fixed within weeks of release and how long has this been out for now?

The last straw was the announcement of DLC that I've been holding out for. Oh, you want $16 so I can have two new commanders, 1 for 1 faction and 1 for another? You've already spat in my face with the base game. So, sure. Why not kick me whilst I'm down with your clear attitude of cash-cowing instead of making a brilliant product for a once loving community?

It's now absolutely clear that this game is dead. Hopefully, that isn't case for the future of the CoH series, but CoH 3 is a bitter disappointment. Avoid.

an offline version which is turn based like other total wars would be amazing but this one is meh
