So I started playing this almost 3 years ago, simply put I love this game. I've tried many MMO's personally, from subscribe to play, to buy to play, to free to play and to pay to win and I usually get bored or never come back to them, only this, Elder Scrolls Online and World Of Warcraft have kept my attention. To me personally this is like a weird one inbetween, the combat and graphics to me make me think of WoW, while the fun classes and story heavy elements make me think of a bit of ESO. Now I didn't play this game at launch as mentioned, I started playing after the hype died away from the last big budget beautiful trailer movie they did for the 2nd last expansion, but I was surprised by how much good story, how much solid Bioware choices and also how involving and true this is to Star Wars. So to me personally this game is an utter win.

So the model for this game is the base game and first two expansions are free (except I think for the massive raid style content), if you subscribe once you get to keep all the current expansions forever. I subbed from day one and have unsubbed and resubbed on and off, its a more fairer model I feel than many other MMO's I have tried.

This made me go back to the original KOTOR games, but like them, for the characters and stories, the combat is generic and functionally fine, nothing flashy, nothing really to write about.

So to me great game, I'd say its worth a download and to give it a solid try, what have you got to lose really in my opinion, so much of it is free.
