The art and soundtrack are superb in this game! The use of Norse Mythology and the story of this warrior trying to fight her way through to earn her place in Valhalla is also surprisingly breathtaking.

Personally, I cannot give it 5 starts, just because I am quite clumsy in this genre of action adventure, so it takes a lot of effort for me.

HOWEVER, if this action adventure game is your bread and butter, I would recommend this game wholeheartedly. You are in for a treat!

So... "The Wolf Among Us", a Telltale Game based on the acclaimed comic book series "Fables". I never heard of the comics before the game. So I went into this game without any prior knowledge about the lore. I loved its noir style, the story, and the main character as well as a few of the secondary/supporting roles carry the story really well. The game does a very good job in hooking you into the story and introducing to you in this world. This fantasy world right underneath our (human) noses.

It has an engaging storytelling, and the choices you make might not carry much complexity and endings as recent Telltale Games (i.e. TWD Season 2, Batman Telltale), BUT... it's not a game I don't mind revisiting regardless. So if you are looking to get lost in a mystery/detective story set in a world too small for fable characters not to collide... this is the game for you!

My only sorrow is that there wasn't a Season 2 for this game... Telltale Games, I love you but you broke my heart by not making a Season 2. Unless, there is one coming...

This is a unique strategy game! Before this game, I would think a war game as something like Call of Duty and the like. However, this is definitely (personal opinion) a war game. We don't think about the civilians, the people that get the blunt of the war. Lost homes... lost families... lost friends... barely enough food and water... This is an important game specially in our current times.

Gameplay wise it delivers! From the base gameplay to the workshope where you can create your own stories. I cared for the characters portrayed in this game, and you will try to keep them alive as long as you can. Will you keep a "higher moral" ground or not? Although a game of this quality never can proclaim to be "this is how war actually is!", this definitely brings a new perspective to it all.

I must commend the studio as well, for making such a unique game. A game that arguably should have been made a long time ago... Thank you 11bit studios!
