I never find colony building game interesting until I give this game a chance.
Despise being a 2D cardbox ass graphic it has everything to offer.
You can be a peaceful farmer trying to build civilization, some lost tribal try to survive or raider that kill everyone and take everything.
Survival and combat is fun! lot of thing to learn but it's worth it.
It's also a mod friendly game with a ton of creative modder.

Repetitive gameplay after 2-3 seasons
Furniture Pack more expensive than The Sims 4 from EA and don't let me talk about loot box in shop
You'll mostly play after phrase 4 when you can farm best mod

Lot of thing getting better from launch
Zombie and melee animation.
more variety on mission, firearms, etc.
and we getting new map and game mode this april.
but still something I really don't like.

they have all the tracking for your hard earn responder.
how many supply you bring, finish mission and nightmare leveling.
but all of your progress can be lost forever by just a game crash, stuck in a bad spot or empty lobby that people just join to reset their character so you can't finish it alone.

until this change I will leave this review as negative.

Pretty fun turn-bases roguelite, great animation and soundtrack.
This game also offer tile movement so you have to dodge area effect, environmental hazard and enemy attack at the same time (my brain is really hurt)

The only thing I don't like in this game is you can only choose starting character but not your party members, you can't have a synergy you want. Sometime game just want to throw 2 support at you or all the damage dealer.

Never knew throwing puppy into the river could be this fun.

X2 chance getting FF from newbie.

“This is how you die”

Let be real here, there are only 2 ways to die in this game unless you doing some weird ♥♥♥♥.

Either zombie or you falling of more than 3 floors while building your base.

First of all.
It's a good game, the game you can just play again and again, each round is different. Enemy, your gun, item spawn, environment will not be the same, so many random element. So you'll not feel kinda bore like the other co-op shooter.
The card system is a wild design but it's turn out great. interesting character but some of them have awkward annoying line.
Why I put this game in negative is ... BUGS.

-interaction is broken sometime when you revive teammate, opening supply case the animation stop but the bar still go and nothing happen.
-Always lagging at start of level and certain area (EX.1-2 ogre spawn)
-Charred ridden can trigger police car alarm (enjoy your nightmare)
-Duping grenade everywhere (yeah I know it's gonna be fix this month)
-Missing first bullet (noticeable when you use pump shotgun or bolt sniper rifle)
-Melee go through wall
-Minigun can block mutation if place in doorway
-Teammate who buy upgrade at vendor leave the match will sometime result in degrading your item.
-Quick game can cause you to use starter or other people deck
-Quick game can cause your character card to disappear
-Quick game can get you a wrong character card (select Evangelo but can Free heal other like Doc)
-Quick game can get you too much card than normal (20-30 sometime)
-Can't see mutation aura via mark for death if you aiming your gun with Holo, reflex or scope.
-Ogre sometime comeback with full HP
-Enter minigun sometime you get in but shoot with your gun instead of minigun.

And there also a thing I like to mention
Nightmare corruption card is absolute no fun and unfair.
What is better? a gloom card + hasty exit or the fog + ferocious boss.
Card should be vary but you have to make it fair and difficult should not be different from each other too much.

I don't think a game that sell at 60$ to have so many issue, It's a shame.
Don't let this game turn to evolve, fix your thing and get players back.

A fan since last stand serie started.
A big fan of last stand deadzone.
I wait so long after deadzone and not disapoint.
Roguelike, zombie, looting.
What could a man ask for more?

Amazing soundtrack and scenery.
Combat is not too hard to understand, simple and enjoyable.
You get to play as little birb with sword, bow and magic.
What do you want more?
