I am meh about this game.
I dont think its bad, in fact a lot of the mechanics have a lot of potential behind them but I found there to be lots of frustrating or lacking aspects to game play that just kept cropping up and making everything feel more like a chore.

The movement feels off, the lack of a targeting pip or other way to see where you are aiming exactly combined with needing to target things to pick them up or interact, fiddly placement with weird snapping patterns, lack of rotation on a lot of elements etc. Combat felt glass cannony with lots of stagger effects and long animation times, and there were plenty of times I died very suddenly with no idea what had happened. Stamina feels very very low, and ladders are a menace, you can run out of stam halfway up and just fall to your death.

The NPCs are a neat addition in the genre and the building has TONS of potential to be cool, same for the mobility options and the more complex combat systems. This feels like a solid base but just isnt there yet for me.

In its current state I dont think I can recommend it, but lets see in a few months if its had more polish. It is definitely early access and feels like it.

Clearly made by someone who knows and loves cats. Insanely fun, engaging, tearjerking, and interesting. Good story, fun puzzles, and good action.

Incredibly relaxing, beautiful, I highly recommend.

It feels like somewhere between Breath of the Wild and Naussica but without the danger/combat.

Pros:
- Beautiful
- Relaxing gameplay
- Good music
- Good quests and stories
- Good puzzles, just complex enough to be interesting without being stressful
- The lore/setting is very interesting
- Vibe is consistent and well done

♥♥♥♥:
- VERY UI poor interaction

The one bad thing I can say about this game is the menu is really bad. You will click on the wrong things many times, sometimes you can use your mouse, other times not, and it switches between the two randomly, and it might crash on you occasionally. But this is no where NEAR a big enough issue to prevent enjoying this game.

In the two hours I have played this game at the time of writing this review I grew to understand the eternal purgatory that is represented by the endless suffering and soulless eyes of the cats of this game and world. I have seen god and watched him die. This game is a jail, an endless jail where there is no escape.

There is no freedom, there is no hope, there is only pain, then death, then rebirth.

10/10 would recommend.

Fun to play, the variety of game modes & heroes means its hard to get too bored and few heroes feel too powerful/weak

Amazing game. No real ♥♥♥♥ except maybe free music variety.

I really enjoy this game, but there are definetly ups and downs

Pros:
Feels really good in VR (this cannot be understated, so many games just feel off)
Awesome mod community
Great combat
Decent feeling physics and general mechanics

♥♥♥♥:
Not a lot to do without a lot of mods: I love this game but there isnt much to it other than fight waves of enemies

Poor enemy AI: Weird pathing, janky reactions, repetative attacks at times

In the end its an awesome sandbox combat game, definetly worth the money, really fun at base, with crazy combat and really good feeling weapons, even more fun with mods, but dont come into this expecting a full VR RPG or anything like that.

10/10 great game

I highly recommend this game, it still feels like warband in all the best ways. Its just a lot of fun, the mechanics feel solid and while there are some minor bugs and hiccups still in the game the devs are patching and adding to it quickly.

I now have more hours in this game and I have to say my opinion has only improved. Keep in mind that this is an EARLY ACCESS game. That means there are some bugs and some features that have not been added yet. However the devs have literally been putting out almost daily updates to the game, and honestly it feels pretty solid as it is. There have been few times I have encountered actual problems with the game and only rarely have I been unable to do something I thought I could do.

9/10 would recommend if you like the style of game.

The game is fine. Its a good game, and honestly has been a god send for interacting with people over the pandemic and in general.

This all being said, I cannot in good faith recommend this game to anyone as it currently stands until they can properly respond to the community and fix their homophobic mod team and do something about the neo-nazi community growing in their platform.

Old Review:
Very good game, well worth the cost. Basically is exactly what it says and is pretty reliable, play tabletop games with friends from anywhere. Even if a game isnt in the mods automatically, you can often figure out either how to fake it with the pieces of other games or just import aspects of it from online.
