While simplistic and repetitive, that game is pretty intresting: it teaches you part of history of greatest army of old and it is quite a good braincrack, making you measure your chances for every action you take in game, I like it.

A bit dusty becouse development started back in 2000, but if you lookin not for fancy graphics but decent RPG with massive immersion, then Age of decadence will surprise you pleasanly.

Heh. For 5 yrs now, I play King Arthur's Gold again and again. And it still as fun as it was at first time. Game is very good, it's not pay2win, it requires only skill, it's very versatile with mods, download some and expirience entierly new game. And what's even better, there is good playerbase, wich constantly renews, but old veterans are too still playin it. Very fun game for cheap price!
