Crush your extra Soulstones and snort them cause this game is just another form of cocaine. It's another Vampire Survivors like game but It has bangin psytrance and a skill tree that looks like it belongs in path of exile. I only put in about 5 hours a week but I've been coming back consistently, it's a slow burn but IMHO it's a solid game. I can't tell you how good it feels to run a build with like 4000% cast frequency. Literal chainsaw build. 10/10 would buy again.

Game is run by the company trying to kill Dark and Darker.

Apex is both the best game I've ever played and the worst at the same time. It has the highest highs and possibly the lowest lows, Expect to either hate the game or love it in *repeating* intervals. Overall though I would recommend it. It is by far the best battle royal on the market and has probably the best mechanics of any game I've ever played. (I have another 1600 hours on origin. lel), - Edit 1500 hours later, Not recommended. Just gonna list off a bunch of things in order of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (No particular order).

Overmonetized In game purchases, quite frankly they are milking the game and expect it to die.

Casino Based Matchmaking or (Engagement Optimised Matchmaking) Designed to fix matches so you lose more than you win to cause an addiction to the rare highs of winning.

Lootboxes? Wait why is no one talking about the very obvious gambling, like did we forget about FIFA and battlefront that easily? Talk about brainwashing.

Audio issues, no footsteps, loud skydiving noise bug. etc etc.

Shadow ban's/False Bans

No accessibility option for those who are hearing impaired? What? Do you guys hate deaf people? (Wait no they can just play Seer.). Yes they designed an entire character around visual notifications of enemy footsteps (Heartbeats). Ok.

No crosshair customisation.

Can't adjust sensitivity with precision. Locked to 0.05 increments. Cant go below 0.20? What if I play with 10kDpi? (Some crackheads do.) ♥♥♥♥ them I guess.

CHEATERS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EVERYWHERE, every match in ranked is a 20% gamble before you even queue. Before you get in the dropship you can be like with nearly 100% certainty "Cheater team, GG's" And good luck being a prolific streamer. HisWattson a top 10 sometimes #1 player literally QUIT because he was being streamsniped 24/7 and was fighting sometimes upwards of 20+ Cheaters a lobby. And it is not limited to big streamers even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ average joe's are getting targeted by cheaters because they are good? Actually garbage handling by EA and Respawn. At this point the playerbase is looking like 50% Cheaters and considering this fact alone doesn't that imply some sort of complicity or corruption on the dev's/Respawn/EA's side, when bans are handed out to normal players and not to the obvious 100% headshot level 20 #153 Predator Default Skin Lifeline literally named "I am ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Cheating #CheaterSoftwareName $2.50 a Month" like excuse me?

Anyways I don't recommend but at this point 99% of my friends play this game and I am going down with the ship, so unless they change any of this I will be more miserable than your average League Player.

Very solid story has me invested :L

I spend roughly 5 hours a week using this, I would recommend putting on some good music and trying it out even for half an hour a day. It is pretty customizable, has plenty of modes, is constantly being worked on and the discord server is full of great people with specific channels dedicated to help you. If you have any problems you can simply report them with the in game bug reporter. It provides a detailed run down of all of the stats at the end round screen, what you are bad at what you're good at, precision, accuracy .etc. There is an AI learning feature that takes information from your past rounds and applies it to the next, changing the size, speed and location of the orbs, I haven't used it very much because I tend to just use the same six tasks but I can see it being very helpful for kicking bad aiming habits. All that and it's free, pretty much a definite must have if you think you need to improve your aim. I personally have improved over the past few months of use and would highly recommend it if you're not willing to spend money on Kovaak's or another trainer, this basically has all the needed functions and more if you consider AI training.
*A couple quick tips*
1. Remove the gun model with the option in the settings. (It can be very distracting and the animations are very boring and bland to look at.)
2. Reduce the firing sound volume or turn off all volume entirely for the same reason as above. *If you use this software all the time the sound can be very boring bland or even annoying (The music is the same 60 second loop as well)
3. Do not use it to warm up for more than an hour. If you spend too long warming up you may burn out before even playing the game you are warming up for. (At least this is what I experienced when using it.)*Recommended 30 minutes a day give or take.*
4. Don't trust Leaderboard score's in any of the ultimate mode's because of the varying sizes of the orbs the scores are not 100% accurate and there are even some scoring glitches, like where someone's score is higher than yours... but has less accuracy and destroyed less targets?

All in all I think it's a good fps addition even to a new players arsenal. I hope this review helped and have a good day!

Not very fun or rewarding, the gun play is ass, hit reg is questionable, MANY Micro-transactions and no Gjallarhorn, but I still play it HELP ME ;.;
