The only idle game I kept on playing for a long time, mostly playing it on mobile though (some features require more performance so I have to switch to Steam for those - e.g. summoning or pet arena).

The game continues to be worked on, actually right now there's some kind of update spree with the dev providing updates on a weekly basis right now.
By now there's a bunch of features that buff each other and/or your player attributes. The more you progress the more you might have to take care of because not revisiting features for more than a day will slow your personal growth. (be prepared to spend quite some time per day to cover your dailies - not only daily quests)
For an idle game the game more or less wants you to have it actively running quite a lot. You usually keep the game running either with a "Bubo" (later form of the mage class) to improve on alchemy, which is one of the most important features, with a "Divine knight" (later form of the warrior class) to farm rare item drops due to how drop rates are calculated with one of his skills or with an "Elemental sorcerer" if you need large amounts of a specific mob drop.

There are features which feel like they were forgotten about and from a personal perspective could need a little boost to make them easier to tackle for users which didn't want to get involved with the feature yet or are comparably weak to others:
- catching/bug hunting: it's super slow in gains compared to other W1 gathering skills... mining gets boosted left and right, fishing can pull multiple kinds at once, chopping rewards actually even get multiplied
- pet arena: especially considering that later rounds might crash your mobile device (recommended setups for later arenas usually include time freezes and stacked amounts of attacks) there should be more pet damage boosts coming from other features so players won't get stuck when not using Steam
- divinity: after unlocking all gods there's no real need to push it much further because of how exponentially the requirements rise. The increase of the costs feels fine in general but the time's worth doesn't match to how much you get from it

I'm really glad I got the game from the humble bundle 'cause I really enjoy it.
Be aware that the game is intended to work as an MMO and tries to force you into playing together with others. You got possibilities of workarounds tho. (e.g. buying a second character slot so you have one for farming and one for crafting)

Also the game is a real grind. Don't expect it to be as minecraft where you can get your materials for a house super fast. You'll be mining for a loooong time (especially on lower levels) and need specific crafting skills if you aim for blocks with a specific look. (or you just buy the blocks / tools from other players)

When you start off you might think the Universe is pretty empty but this will change. Compared to other games it actually is tho but so far the playerbase was one of the best I encountered in online games for a long time. It feels like the existing playerbase is really eager to help and answer questions so new players will stay.


I've played this game for a few days and there are some things I'd recommend if you want to enjoy it over a longer period of time:
* Look for someone who tends to play around the same time as you. It's more enjoyable if you have others around you while playing and you can support each other on higher tier planets.
* If you're not sure of a feature or need help in general: ASK! Some stuff isn't super obvious from the start but if you looked it up you might bump your head against a wall 'cause you didn't see it at first. For example you need to skill special resistances on higher tier planets. Otherwise you won't be able to see anything and suffocate when heading there.
* Build next to a town/settlement with a portal to a portal hub or an own portal hub. Portals are marked as purple pointers on your radar. If those are connected to a hub you can easily access other planets at no costs
* Dig for your life! T3 and higher planets have hostile mobs. Mobs mainly spawn on the overworld and only occasionally in caves. At first you might struggle facing them all the time due to bad gear so mining might be a good way to start off avoiding them and to prepare yourself.
* Play as you like until level 19, get yourself a secondary character for crafting afterwards. As you progress you'll see the difference in spreading your skills too much and focussing on a specific task. It totally maskes sense to invest some of the free shop tokens into a second character slot. That way your main character can focus on one task and use skill points for strength (more damage to blocks/mobs), luck (more drops) or other farming related stuff while the other character focuses on crafting only so you don't have to rely on other players. If you passed level 50 there are other options so it's likely that 2 character slots are more than enough
* Look at long time player's builds. Especially in regards of crafting stations. Maybe even let them explain them to you. After a week or so you should get yourself ready to start building yourself a huge factory hall which is ready for the workbench upgrades etc. (what I've seen each of the workbenches/refineries/etc will take up atleast 6x6x1 blocks)



Last but not least: If you're playing the game and I didn't stop doing so by then my base is on the planet "Sochaltin I", coords "-1923 North, -729 East" (height 85)

Although it's super easy and fast to finish it was super fun to play.
I'm so glad I backed this (Droid tier) and it really deserves to get more attention.

Just to keep it short:
It's basically the better and more complex version of Diablo.
There are regular patches for improvements and bugfixes and about every two months new features & content get added to the game.
Inapp purchases aren't needed but I hardly recommend to purchase more inventory space in case you intend to continue playing after finishing the storyline to make inventory management easier (some features like trading sets of items with vendors for special currency take loads of space).

For fans of the Diablo franchise I hardly recommend the game. Beside the known content it's harder than Diablo and offers more variety.

I really loved this game. The story was good, the gameplay enjoyable and the Studio Ghibli like art is a real eyecandy.

Although the basegame is really good I got to admit that buying Prince's edition (includes the the season pass) right at release was a real bummer. 8 months after release we still didn't receive any paid DLC content and the weapons were a bad joke and get replaced early in the game anyway. The DLC will be released soon but there was no information about it for several months. When selling that kind of stuff right away the publisher should inform the customers if that kind of stuff won't be released anytime soon. Many people who already finished the game probably won't reinstall it when they finally release the additional content - especially if it doesn't offer story related stuff.

Bad things first:
- The initial configuration for the keyboard control is really bad (wasd for movement, zxcv and numbers for skills) because those buttons are too close to each other and make your character control really clunky but luckily you can rebind every key. (I bound menu keys to numbers and attacks to the right half of the keyboard's letter buttons)
- Having daily limitations for farming resources is really annoying. I actually really enjoy travelling around the world and collect resources basically everywhere but Maple Story 2 has set areas for each resource and limits how often you can collect each resource per day to prevent you from leveling up those skills too fast.
- some interface actions feel kinda hidden: joining dungeon queues isn't intuitive (people might complain about always facing dungeons alone), fish mastery has its own interface window although it should show up in life skills so it's easier to find right away (or atleast it would make sense)

Now about the good part:
- Graphics are really cute and the game feels like Nexon already prepared it to create loads of events for the community to keep them playing. (which is caused by the fact that the game already exists for several years in korea)
- You can get and build your own home. There are loads of assets which you can unlock so each home can look unique.
- The game motivates players to play together but also allows solo play. You can always see if other players are currently on your map (on your channel - you can switch the channel and might find people on another one if needed) in case you can't handle specific elite monsters / bosses on your own (including world bosses).
- No shared loot. Each player gets his own (chance for) loot for each enemy defeated. There's no need to worry about item drops 'cause others can't take your loot.

Small and simple game with easy mechanics. :thumbs_up:
The drawn graphics are really cute and the music is nice to okayish. Plus point for having a cat (which you shouldn't pet more than once a day ;) )
In regards of content compared to the price I'd rather recommend to wait for a sale. There's almost no story and no other content (like mechanics which are actual fun) which could make a full price purchase reasonable.

Storyline: You want to visit your grandma and find out she's not at home. Nobody knows her whereabouts so you start taking care of her house and business by collecting herbs, brewing potions and cooking food.

Mechanics: Each day you got a limited amount of energy you can spend on the various jobs (collecting herbs / brewing potions / finding cooking ingredients hidden in your barn / digging). You can increase the amount of energy by cooking food, drinking specific potions or having an apple when you get to sleep.
You got 4 "good" herbs (which turn into potions) and 4 "bad" herbs (which just waste your energy) which are randomly chosen at the start of the game. The puzzling part is to find out which ones are useful and how to mix more powerful potions. The recipebook will note down successfull recipes so you can look those up any time afterwards.
