Best 3D Fallout. It's a successful game mainly because it was made by Obsidian and not those clowns from Bethesda.

The only good 3D game in this series is New Vegas. Fallout 4 is a piece of crap that is only suitable as a platform for mods.

I bought this game on Steam a few years ago, and now for some reason it suddenly requires the Epic app in addition. What a disgrace.

If you're only interested in multiplayer then you can buy it, although I don't know if it's worth it at full price (quite small base roster for such an expensive game). Future dlc's will not be cheap, and the developers/publishers are very greedy. The game also currently does not have a cross-platform feature, and it is unknown if this will be implemented on PC.

If you're interested in singleplayer modes, story and MK lore then wait for big sales because it's not worth it.


My impressions:

--- Corporate greed. Horribly expensive game with tons of dlc and ingame paid items store. Even for additional fatalities you have to pay extra. Wish they were so willing to make free content, QoL and balance changes (which don't come out too often).
--- The final 25% of the story effectively cured me of the desire to play this mode in future games of the series. My hype was brutally murdered. Marvel comics garbage tier story.
--- Too many single-player features require an Internet connection. (There are also situations for example you're in the 9th battle in the arcade tower, and you lose your connections, and you are forced to go back to the main menu.) Terrible treatment of single-player gamers.
--- Updates are very rare, and this game badly needs them. The developers are more focused on releasing expensive skins.

-- Netcode is more unstable than in 11. Frequent termination of ranked sets due to connection problems. At the same time the game has longer ranked sets than before (3 wins needed). Great job developers.
-- Important characters from story mode will be released in a paid dlc, in the future!
-- Wasted cameo potential in story mode. Instead of roster characters it's some elementals and other nonsense. If cameo roster characters like Darrius appear they are mute.
-- 30fps in menu, cutscenes etc. I hate that!
-- Roster is too small.
-- The awful appearance of some of the characters, especially some of the women (AND Ermac). Quite a few are too old, especially Tanya looks terrible (I miss the design from MK10 or 4). Sindel and Li-Mei look like they are sisters. Kitana's lips are stuffed with botox. The best looking is Sonia, who is just a cameo! Even Cage's ex-wife from story mode, who appears for about 30 seconds, looks prettier than most of the women in this game! WTF!

- Megan Fox's voice acting is atrocious. She ruined my immersion during the story mode. Even Ronda Rousey in MK 11 was better than this "professional actor".
- Smoke in story mode was a jobber and didn't even have his own chapter. What a joke!
- Lots of unclimatic and mismatched character costumes (just like MK11).
- Single-player modes are again focused on boring grind. It's more of a chore than entertainment. The challenge tower from MK9 was much more entertaining than that.
- Rain is less fun than the classic 2D or from MK9.
- There is no pre-fight talk in arcade mode. What a joke.
- Cameos didn't even get endings in arcade mode.
- Using Shrine is horribly slow. What kind of moron came up with the idea that you can only spend 1000 coins at a time and have to look at a very long animation every time?


* I've heard a lot of bad things about the state of the PC port, but personally I haven't had any problems on mid tier hardware. I have 60fps on max settings. Apparently, it's a very individual thing, and the game sometimes runs better on an average computer than on the high-end.


++ Aerial combat. I liked it in MK7, and here it is much better done. Probably the biggest plus of gameplay in this game for me.

+ Gameplay is noticeably better than in 11 but still similar (unfortunately). I prefer MK10 and 9.
+ Before marvel garbage started, the story mode was good (definitely better than MK11 and 10).
+ Some of the easter eggs and references to older games were cool.
+ A lot of people complain about the length of the story mode, but I have the impression that it is longer than in previous games.
+ It's cool that Repitle and Baraka weren't such jobbers as usual and they were easy to like in the storymode. I like also the human part of the Reptile design, he looks cool!
+ Longer and more enjoyable combos than in 11. Although I would prefer a longer combos without cameos.
+ The return of many characters from the 3D era.
+ I'm also glad to see Motaro's presence (better cameo than nothing).
+ No Kombat Kids and Special Forces for this time. Thank the gods!

--- Atrocious hit detection. This is especially the case with the world 2 boss and to a lesser extent world 1 boss. In the case of regular opponents, traps, and the final boss, the problem exists, but it's not that bad.
-- Very short game. Only 12 levels.
- The game supposedly supports the pad, but it is buggy and practically impossible to play. It is better to use a keyboard.
- The level design has quite a few flaws.

* Average music.

+ Nice graphics, I like this style.
+ The duck can swim to hidden places in the water.

I am disappointed with how underdeveloped this mess is. I once played "PC Mario" created by this author and it was a better game.

Relatively good as a study supplement. As an RPG game, it is completely average. Although, I have played far worse games made on the RPG Maker engine.

I haven't had this much fun in any hack and slash game since the release of Grim Dawn.

Diablo 4 beta effectively turned me off (it will be an overpriced, casual game with 1000 horse skins and unnecessary MMO features), so I'm glad I found something better.

Last Epoch is far from Path of Exile's level of complexity, but the possibility to make a variety of builds is still very high.

Can't wait for version 1.0!

+++ Great physics and destruction of cars and the environment.
+ Very fun extra modes.
+ Pleasant, well-made car controls.
+ Good graphics for 2004. Still, after so many years, it hasn't aged bad.
+ Big enough list of cars to choose from.
+ Simple, but fairly good tuning of cars.

* Average soundtrack, but has some good songs.
* A.I. is kinda strange, but it's hard for me to rate it positively or negatively.

- It does not support modern resolutions. However, it can be fixed.
- Minor bugs. Lack of physics of some environmental objects. Cars deteriorate too much and too quickly under certain circumstances.

The optimization of the game has worsened lately. I wonder what could be the reason for this?
