Lovely game, so much so that I'm pestering my friends to buy it too. In short, Larian's done an amazing job with this title to the extent that I'd regard BG3 as a must-play for any RPG enjoyer.

Bias disclosure: I'm a casual player on Hardcore difficulty and have not interacted with the standard league community since first trying this game years ago. I'm also a long-time Diablo player, having played D3 since open beta and having tried out D4 during closed beta and the more recent server slam.
Lovely game, gotta use poe-vault to figure out how to not die in the first 30min, but the community's one of the friendliest and most helpful I've ever been a part of and it's incredibly refreshing to see that.
Gameplay is really smooth and feels bloody tight, and unless you're running on a potato like me, you're incredibly unlikely to die due to anything but lack of skill/knowledge, a fact which I cannot praise enough especially when compairing PoE to the last few iterations of the Diablo series.
Gotta pay for stash tabs though in order to play `properly`, but I think that's rather fair as I've not felt the need to buy anything off of the cash store, only strong incentives for the sake of convenience and getting decent deals (almost every weekend from what I can see).
Sound is bloody good and atmospheric but can also work incredibly well as background when listening to audiobooks or podcasts.
Can't really say much on graphics as I'm playing on a rather low-end machine besides the fact that it runs well even on it while still looking better than D3.
Overall the game's great for anyone who wants to pit their remaining neurons against one-another for the sake of big numbers, orange items and the opportunity to flex on your mates for playing a big-brain game. Strong, deep and novel systems make PoE stand out from the products put out by AAA publishers, that and the fact that the game is actually a game that works, doing what it says on the tin, and is also fun AND isn't trying to rob your gran, mum, kid brothers and so on of every last penny.
So, give it a try, will you? Also please do NOT pay 70 euros/bucks/pounds for D4, it's bad for gamers, bad for Activision employees, bad for women, bad for kids and bad for GAMES as GAMES AND NOT BLOODY LIFE SERVICES that serve absolutely no purpose but to get you to PAY MORE FOR LESS.

Good game, decently in-depth, a bunch of different mechanics that allow for a wide range of builds that are all fun and decently balanced
