It is definitely an enjoyable game, but far to be a perfect one in its current state.

Before going into some details, lets compare Kingdom Come to the current benchmark, in my opinion, The Witcher 3. Is KC:D better than TW3? I would say no. Despite having a nice and quite well written story, in my opinion, TW3 is still better in that aspect. However KC:D does some other things differently, most noticeably the combat (disregarding the magic part of TW3 as there is no magic in KC:D), which I find more enjoyable than the TW3 counterpart.

KC:D provides also some interesting "minigames" when dealing with pickpockeeting, alchemy and such. Some of which are trying to innovate on the existing systems in the genre.

As per character progression, KC:D is more similar to TES: Skyrim, where the abilities of your character improve according to how much they are used.

To conclude this short comparison I would say the following:
-Story wise: TW3 is better than KC:D, while KC:D still having a nice and enjoyable story
-Game Mechanics wise: I personally find KC:D having generally better mechanics than TW3

As some of the readers of this review may have seen many others complaining about bugs and performances in the game, I'll provide my view on the subject according to my experience.

First of all, the game is definitely "not bug free". Most of them have been annoying bugs, like NPCs trying to walk through a wall, sub-par physics, and some broken side-quests. Nothing too bad. However I can see that it is possible that some of these bugs may affect in some nasty way the main quest, actually "breaking" the game. Hopefully these problems will be fixed in the coming patches.
I found the AI handling the animals (in the woods while hunting) to be extremely sub-par, they may have tuned it down to make it easier to hunt, but I personally find it maybe too unrealistic.

I personally have not encountered any performance issues in my play-through.

In conclusion, I would recommend Kingdom Come: Deliverance. If you liked The Witcher 3, you will most likely like this, as the story is quite well written and interesting. Mind that they "tried" to make a more realistic game, which in my opinion is an interesting challenge, and I have to say they partially succeeded, leading to a more realistic game with respect to others belonging to the same genre, while keeping it still playable and enjoyable as a game.
