As someone who was completely unaware and out of the loop of the surrounding drama regarding the game, I'm having a fun time with the game. The game is amazingly optimized running great of my 3080, the combat is fun and intense and the story is.....alright. The companions and dialogues could have been better.
Overall, i think its fun.

P.S- never cared about sjw woketards or the anti-woke gooners. You guys can stay mad if that makes you happy. Game is fun.
