Okay with closing in on 30 hrs on this game I think I can finally give it a full review. Lets start with pros

Pros:
1. Free
2. Fun (at times)
3. Movement is best part
4. No pay to win aspect (yet)

Now the Cons

Cons:
1. Gun play is ass
2. Buggy (it is still early this may change)
3. Lack of community (not many players)
4. Optimization is decent but needs work
5. Servers are ASS
6. Some stuff in the game does not work in its current patch (call cards and badges are useless)
7. Cheating is a big problem (hopefully with time this will improve)

With all that being said honestly I cannot recommend even with it being a free game. It just needs so much work that I honestly do not think the devs can keep up. Especially with a lack of players already. I wonder if it would even be worth it at this point. Even at launch the numbers were small.

Honestly it was a great game at one time, but the problem is that a game like this requires more than the dev can offer. It now has too many cheaters and barely a community. Would not be willing to suggest playing this as even though it is free, it is sadly a waste of time in its current state.

I will state when it first came out it was great. There was a lot of work needed, sadly that same work is still needed. The wrong things were focused on for updates. Which is unfortunate.

3/10 just cannot recommend

Edit: The game has become riddled with bugs with each update.. and the hotfixes usually make things worse.. sadly still can't recommend even with the brand new update.

Very very fun game, similar to other monster hunter games. Mostly similar to world/iceborne as it is easier to play versus the older games. still loads of fun and would easily recommend!

Alright first off let me start by saying yes DayZ stadalone is a POS. However while that may be the game is alot better than it was 3.5 yrs ago. I remember when picking up a gun was a task so for all the people claiming to have played it at the beginning. Ill sit here and laugh because none of you did. You boutght it played it for a few hrs then said f this. I did the same at first, but then i accepted that yes it's an alpha. A very unpolished and broken alpha, but a alpha none the less. It does seem like the game will never be finished. The game however doesn't lie to you. I have seen fully released games that claim to be done with even beta. Where the game itself is hardly an alpha. If that doesn't say something I don't know what will. I will say it again the game is a POS, but its a POS that is improving. Like I said in the beginning picking up a gun was a chore now the game actually understands and allows you to pick it up and no lie actually use it. What kids and dumb adults these days don't realize is this game was to take alot. the graphics the idea of it. All of it cost more than they could ever have predicted yes 3 million people bought the game at 30 dollars. Some even less. The point is we have all seen games that charged over 60 and were just about as polished as this dung heap. Im not saying its a good or bad game. I am merely pointing out its flaws while remaining humble about its pros. Yes, It has some pros. Its a somewhat cheap functional survival game. It allows you to have free rein over what you do as its an open world. Yes the AI is buggy as all hell, but they can be expected. I hear this alot "The game is now just a crappy loot and kill" well duh! thats was the whole point people I have no idea where some of you are getting this it was suppose to be an rpg ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from. It doesn't even mention an rpg in any of the tags nor the description itself so again I laugh at those people. Getting mad over irrelevant issues they have with the game, because they didn't do enough research on it before they bought it. That is really what most of these reviewes are. Honestly is the game worth 30 dolllars ehh if you have the money to spend sure why not give it a try. Now if you don't have money to just throw around and you want an actual good game then no stay the ♥♥♥♥ away from this POS run as far as you can. Hope my reviewe helped to straighten out a few things and maybe keep another poor unsespecting victim from buying this. Its not a scam COD is a scam. Each year you pay 60 dollars to play the same bs online over and over again...now that ladies and gents is a scam. Thank you and goodnight

Well this game looked promising however free to play? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! this game is more like pay to even install? then pay to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ even play it.

Looked at an animal tried to shoot said don't have license tried to shoot another, nope. No license well ♥♥♥♥.....walked around for about several hundred minutes just looking for something that I could shoot..Best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hunting game ever!! PETA would love this POS as you really can't kill a damn thing. I don't think you can even kill anything even if you had the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ license...

15/10 would uninstall over and over again...POS

The game seemed pretty decent right off the bat. Then I played a little longer and realized, it is a rushed piece of crap that should have never been released. It has potential however thats like saying Michael Jordan had potential at baseball BS he sucked at baseball. The game could have been something much better. All I am saying is that if it hadn't been rushed and it had a little bit more put into it, is that it would be a great GTA alternative or at least that's what I think
