It was really good ported to PC. An yes, the lags are kept in on purpose. It emulates the old hardware perfectly in an original way. Even the settings of how you want to have the visibility (e.g. old TV-Style) is great. The only problem here is the not included opportunity of changing the sound settings. It's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loud, if you don't tab out of the game and change the windows soundmixer for that game.

A further point is the challenge mode. It's quite competitive. And with competitive I think of 'F*****ck!!! This is so bloody damn hard sh*******t!!! This game wants me to have an heart attack out of pure rage!!!'
But that's great. That's almost the same motivation, like I have on Dark Souls. At first it feels like hell to play this, but after you managed to finish something out of it, you feel a forthright emotion of achieving something. That's really rare on games these days.
