Pros
  • +The main story is interesting (at least, the parts I played)
  • +The orphanage story shows a new side of Kiryu

Cons
  • -Coming from Yakuza Kiwami 2 to this game is rough
  • -Janky combat and movement
  • -The orphanage story got stale after a while

Yakuza 3: Remastered is the sequel to the original Yakuza 2, which was originally released on PS2. However, If you played Yakuza Kiwami 2 (the remake of Yakuza 2), this game is significantly more janky, especially with the combat and movement. They both feel stiff and it makes combat encounters with bosses and tougher enemies not fun.

I wanted to beat the game to experience the story, but I think I will read a summary or watch videos about the story. I got tired of the combat after a while. I can't recommend this game, but it may be worth trying if you can get it at a low price.
