Litterally at a point becomes PURE rng.

This is a very good game.
The base difficulty is nice and fair.
Higher difficulties are a bit difficult.
Great sound design.

Sound design is AMAZING
Game play is GREAT.
The ONLY issue with game play was when i didn't realise how to deal with the rematch. (vague for spoilers)

Got recommended this by a friend to play.
Tells me to stream me playing it to him.
Loads up game.
Did my ritual for ALL games
Goes to settings to make sure vertical sync and motion blur disabled.
Finds out those settings dont exist.
Wait that sounded good ... (notices audio even background menu stuff good)
OMFG THE ENTIRE MAIN MENUE HAS GOOD AUDIO DESIGN.
Messes around in the main menue for a bit enjoying the audio.
Internally prays it will have a good sound design all the way through.
Starts game.
Into sequence has GREAT audio.
OH ♥♥♥♥ YES.
Touches piano.
OMFG IT WORKS.

Wont say more about the game in particular past this. but the audio quality and game design continue to be amazing.

Pretty interesting game.
sometimes feels slow sometimes fast.

Final grind is slow

MY ONLY issues with this is 2 things
To short.
the game seems to be a resource hog for your pc

Great puzzle game. only issue if you can call it one is its short.

The DLC made the hud worse readability. the hud used to be your health is a number but also a percentage of a bar that fills and lowers due to healing and dmg. NOW IT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TAKES TIME TO LOWER BUT STILL INSTAKILLS YOU SHOULD IT REACH 0. make it a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ instant percentage or make it so your bar has to empty before you die. YOUR MAKING THE GAME HARDER TO READ. Also like others say yes the new items are SIGNIFCANTLY worse then most the old ones. either being useless or actually detremental. one is so broken that it makes the standard bossfight impossible due to it glitching the boss out.
p.s. the recycler is now partly broken and doesnt work correctly

game is unplayable in their own servers due to bot's hosted by bad actors ruining the game.
until this is fixed there is 0 reason to play this game.
this issue is fixed on fan servers by OPEN SOURCE scripts so valve with all their money and ability to hire contractors should have fixed this YEARS AGO (this has occurred for the better part of 5 years now without action from valve)

this is disgraceful for valve to have let it go on this long with no actions.

the bot hosters have done MULTIPLE completely illegal actions

The bots have been banned and hosters also are banned however this will stay negative untill valve does action that displays they will continue supporting the game.

THOUGH the game is playable now without bots.

*this is my opinion but me trying to be direct to point*

At its current state i will not recommend this game to any single person i know unless they are a massochist.

the current state of the game is the following

extremely fast time to kill if landing shots. (this is extremely punishing if matches arnt balanced)
lots of tech for movement (extremely punishing if you dont know how to or cannot do it)
gunplay feels amazing to use

the big issue is there seems to be 0 mm other then get players in lobbies fast

*below is personal opinion for the game as someone who does not play only 1 game and likes variety*

the game is effectively unplayable unless this is the only game you play to learn all the tricks how to manipulate your hitbox and track players properly. the gunplay while lovely is too fast paced for a game which if you die early you are stuck either waiting for your squad to come get you or waiting for the next match. but due to how the game is that means multiple minutes of waiting just to get into a short fight that is over quick. making the entire loop feel more like your waiting then actually playing the game. Due to the character design some characters are effectively useless as they are so weak playing them is just shooting yourself in the foot that causes every match to be the same 6 characters fighting constantly with rarely one of the less good characters.

p.s. the only people who play the game anymore see to be the people who no life the game. so all skill based issues are amplified

Key thing. OCE and personal opinion.

The matches while fun sometimes are more often ruined due to many reasons ... you need a full team to reliably get competent players.

The balancing of some weapons and weights feels wonky often.

(likely ping related but i should have decent in oce servers)
The movement is mostly normal but sometimes just feels janky and delayed
