I can't believe this!!
It feels like the Developers actally like their game, and enjoy it themselves!!
Like, "oh, another new mechanic", and "again something new"...
I had to restart (savegame lost), so I wasn't quite happy, but frick me! The ranged combat alone...
When u shoot ur arrow, and nail a, still living, zombie against a wall...hilarious!!

The combat feels even more realistic than blade&sorcery (personal opinion of a reenactment viking)
For example: one of the most famous sword fighting techniques, from the old "Fechtbücher", the Mordhau, isn't just doable, but the most effective way to fight skeletons, with a sword. (Have to confirm it for plate armour)

When "Blade&Sorcery" is "Skyrim", then "Hellsplit: Arena" is "Kingom Come Deliverance".
(most fencing techniques won't work in B&S, because of the way the sowrds r handled...

So if u like to fight, like a true swordsman, this is the way to go!!

Is it groundbreakin'? noIs it worth 80€? noIs it a rly good magic fighting system? heck yes! The story is often described as shallow, and the protagonist is an ass. The story is deeper as most isekai-anime. People who say this story is bad, won't like Avatar the last airbender either. "Urgh, of course the avatar saved the day. who would have thought he'll beat the fire lord, urgh."Also I don't know why so many people complain about bad optimization. I don't have a high-end pc. Dying Light 2 lags way more, when I just play the game. When I mindlessly kill some enemies, I can watch netflix, and even disney+(more ram), while playing forspoken, on the main screen, which is ultra wide. And I just have a small lag, during the initial load up.I have a rtx3070, 32gb ram, and an i7-12700KFI have only one thing that bothers me, to be honest. U can't continue ur parcour, after using an ability that catapults u high up, in the air. and while u have an ability to slow down ur fall, u can't use any movement ability during this ultra high vertical jump.Conclusion: If u like feeling like a powerfull mage, and the game is on sale - consider it.Play the demo, and maybe watch a gameplay video, or two. U will probably like it

I just played 3.2h (till now), but it was in one sitting, my feet have gone dead, I lost track of time, and...
I felt a bit nauseous after that time... And I love it!!
No game had this effect on me, ever! It felt like I slided, high up in the air, on a giant crab thingy...
But I have to admit, as awesome as it is, it would be even better, if there would be the option to get more enemies.

I grab my sniper rifle, spit my gum out, breath in, breath out, that guy is in my scope, and...
Did I just spat my gum out on my carpet? FUUUU....

Brilliant game, awesome atmosphere, great weapon handling, maybe a bit too immersive...
9/10 - I had to remove one point, for my ruined carpet... :P

A bit of promo in the Pen&Paper Community, and you wouldn't be able to re-invest all the money that get's flung at you.
Such an add would automatically get empowered by the Chain Reaction, and Multi-Shot Runes...
I will put a link in my D&D Discord, and I know at least 3 of my Sorcerer Players will buy it in an instant xD

Dear Wildcard...I rly like to go out, have a nice time, before I get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the ark
I thought the Arks landed already and that we get a massive multi biome map...instead we get a quest system no one ever asked for, and tiny maps where u can nearly not build anywhere...

Die Tatsache, dass man hier bloß eine begrenzte Anzahl an Mitteln (Menschen) zur verfügung hat macht das ganze wirklich gut.

Man leidet richtig mit, wenn ein Teammitglied von Zombies gerissen wurde, denn damit ist alles was dieser Charakter konnte nutzlos geworden.


gab es auch Anfangs ein paar Probleme (Beta)
wurden diese alle wunderbar gefixt und man kann mit dem Ergebnis bloß zufrieden sein.

Eine Multiplayer-funktion währe noch die Blattgold ummantelte Kirsche auf dem Eis.
Dafür hätte man z.B. die Server auf dem eigenen PC Hosten können und dann villeicht auch bloß zu zweit spielen können, aber es währe schon der Wahnsinn gewesen ^^

nichts desto Trotz, würde ich dem Spiel an die 85-90% geben.
Es macht unheimlich Spaß und hat definitiv Suchtpotenzial.
