Early Access Review
Shoppe Keep is a fun little game where instead of you being the adventurer, you are instead the vendor that sells them items. You are able to decide what you sell and their prices. There are 3 skill trees you can pick and choose from to evolve your shop. There is always the chances of thieves stealing your items to being raided by barbanians to keep you on your toes. I love the cartoony style of the game aswell, and the developers are always open to feedback.
But there are some problems however. NPCs track way too much dirt into the store, making me clean over and over, but I guess that gives me something to do while people are shopping. Scenarios take a bit of time [30 mins average for me], and you need those to unlock items for My Shoppe mode, which I don't really have a problem with other than the fact that some items almost never get sold, and some of those are items are items that NEED to be sold, drastically adding time it takes to complete the scenario. Even worse is the fact that Scenarios have no save button, meaning that if I have to go or something in the middle of a scenario I've spent a long time on, I'd have to restart the scenario if I close the game. I hope one gets implemented soon.
But that's where my complaints end. I've seen a few graphical glitches, such as NPCs going through stairs, but nothing gamebreaking. Overall, the game is very enjoyable and I would reccomend it. Plus it's only 5 dollars!

Thank you for replying to me! I will happily stick with this game as it continues to evolve as I really enjoy it. I have more things to report: I feel as if the sword does too much damage and the lightning spell has too little cooldown. Tihs makes battles with barbarians too easy for me, and I think a nice addition could be a "Combat" Branch, where the sword does little damage, and you can upgrade that and the lightning spell, or have to get the lightning spell later, through the branch. I've also noticed that on the sides of the main door are openings and I can slide out of my shop through it, although I think you should keep this, as it allowed me to explore and catch the thieves who run out of the door to grab my item back rather than it being lost forever. I think that you could do some cool stuff with this, such as add in easter eggs in hidden places on the map. Although I would understand if you fixed the holes.

Hi!

Thanks for the review! I'm pleased that you like the game, We are making some changes as to how scenario & My shoppe speak with eachother that we will reveal very soon.

As for the sword of barbinguantua quest, I am afraid there was a bug with this mission. However last night we fixed this, you may need to kill a few barbinguantuas to drop the sword.

Many thanks again, hope you stick with us as the game evolves :)

All the best,
Chris
