This is one of those games that has a lot of promise. I've poured on some hours exploring it and had a fair chunk of fun, with only a few disappointments that are not because of the game, but rather from the lack of content produced thus far.
As the game goes, it is an addictive sort of city builder with the pressure being less based on time but working to advance without inciting your enemy to attack you when you are unprepared. While currently bland for variety in enemies, playable factions, and tech specialization, this is definitely a game worth grabbing to support its future while the price is low.
Also could use some wildlife eye candy too.

This is a sweet game, bonus if you remember the game Scorched Earth with the little tanks back in the day, this one just has crazier shot tricks, like looping your rounds past two planets and into a third. :D
Definitely fun to play, though friends are probably better than randoms.

The ending ruins it, weapon selection is narrow and weak. Nice open world though. Its something worth like 20$ in the bargain bin.

Pros:
Expansive open world, lots of things to do.
You really want to kill your targets after a while.

Cons:
Nothing you do matters.
You only get defeat targets the cutscene way, no matter how much you want to choke them.
Plot is railroaded and you can't change it.
Weapon selection is very lacking, like seven versions of the 1911 though with all the same stats but different paint jobs. Many weapons on the lists are just paint job changes.

Spoiler:
You lose.

I'm gottan toss the words that I see becoming more and more common as I agree with them.

"I bought this game for 60$ when it first game out, it seemed... magical.
I was dissappointed the more I played by how empty it was,
I was slowly but surely left to watch as the game grew more and more,
Now I don't feel that 60$ was wasted any more."

This game went from a kinda hollow game of fly around, scan things, learn languages, and build up resources; to a game of exploration, base building, interspecies interations, and a dose of intrigue to bring it to life. I am looking to another year of such advances, then I might even start to admit to having bought this game 'back in my day'. :P

P.S. But I still would have liked to get it on sale so I can have more money. :D

Crossout is an interesting game, its fun, new, and rather innovative.
Except...
Everything you want to do beyond common junk costs coins (yes there are some 2 hour rentals, as well as some items that if you work very hard you can get by luck in lockboxes).
Coins are purchased with cash.
Now coins you can get from selling stuff (abit with a 10% tax rate on your gains), but there is no way to earn them ingame meaning that the economy requires constant influx of real money to keep it moving. For that, I do not recommend this game unless you can afford to pay for it, otherwise, play it for a while and enjoy the bit of delight and drop it like a good habit.

P.S. Hey, maybe you'll get lucky and get a legendary item from a box; right?

I thought the game was pretty fun at first, you could fight and get some compensation. But now its just the top guys of the teir beating you senseless as your low tech guns can't match upto theirs.

If there'd even been like .1 Tech Points given for not succeeding in getting a kill and only dealing damage I might not have changed my opinion to a 'no, i don't really recomend this game any more. The rich stay rich and the poor stay poor.'

For a creation game that started less than a year ago its really grown. While there are some things you wind up desparately wishing for in moments, like the ability to grapple items or pistons, its definately a minecraft type game full of building pointless inventions from BattleMechs to gravity powered railguns (also decoy launchers). There's no end the ability to self amuse (also do it during meteor storms if you want some frustration).

Well it is certainly a fun game. It focuses on loose teams of upto four players working together to accomplish a variety of goals; the assortment of weapons and armors is impressive and still growing, and the ability to customize the arributes of your armors and weapons just make it reign supreme when it comes to being allowed to do things your way.

You can play it like an assualt shooting game or as a sneaky ninja game, there's even a solo mode for when you just want to have some fun all by yourself quietly. So if you enjoy co-op FPS shooting, stabbing, cyber ninja games; this one is probably for you.

The years have gone by quite quickly it seems, a game nobody thought would succeed has grown. The staritng learning curve is a little steep now days as the majority of players become veterans, but those veterans are usually delighted to help. So come, explore the galaxy and fight for it Your Way.

There's a lot of sequels out there that fail to live up to the expectations people set for them; Saints Row 4.... yeah, its more like the next chapter of a book you have trouble putting down for very long, cause this chapter now has extra awesome and snarky commentary.

Some games are fortunate to not have suffered sequalitis, where they lessen with each rendition. So if you wanna play a game where you decide how you want to do things, this is one of those games. Filled with cyberpunk goodness, amusing storyline, and a nice tell to for the Deus Ex games of old; Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a great game.

P.S. Game lies you can get all the augmentations by the end of it without cheating, you just have to be the most non lethal, non weapon using, supreme ghost of all times.
