It's like MissingNo. itself made a video game! If you love the strange vibes of a glitched-out gameboy game, you should definitely give PROCEMON a try.
The visual style is unnervingly charming in its procedurally-generated glory, full of stray pixels and patterns that almost make sense. It's fun to play, too- combat is quick yet full of delights, from the huge variety of visual effects to the status-changing MOOD system. You can also just scroll through the dex and enjoy the delicious, wikipedia-scented word salad within.
The few human-made features are excellent as well and fit seamlessly into the game's glitchy style. Make sure to check out the walkthrough: it's a weird little gem that reads like an early-2000s gameFAQs guide.

I know this game isn't for everyone, but I love it so much! It's so full of wonders. So far, I've visited 6 star systems and 20 planets, and I'm still having the time of my life.

---Things I enjoy about this game---
-neon space aesthetic; the colors are bright and gorgeous and different on every planet and every system. multicolored night skies. starships with bright paint and bold decals. fluorescent pink space sheep. beautiful.
-adventure feels; there's SO MUCH to explore. I've spent hours and hours on some planets and i still feel like I've barely touched them.
-names; i LOVE getting to name every plant and rock and animal that i see, whether it's serious ("speckled ground apple") or not ("WRYYYYYYY").
-history; each alien race has a deep history that you get to discover, piece by piece. there aren't that many kinds of aliens, but what it lacks in breadth, it makes up for in depth.
-space genders; HECK YES. to name a few: rational, exotic, alpha, unknown, orthogonal, asymmetric, VECTORISED

---Things that I realize other people might not enjoy so much---
-resource collection; i find it kind of meditative but i know that can translate to "boring" for some people.
-names; if you don't like naming your Pokemon, you're probably not gonna like naming flora/fauna/minerals/planets.
-not a lot of concrete objectives or end conditions, so you kind of have to find your own motivations.

---Things i don't enjoy about this game---
-the interstellar map is pretty visually confusing and difficult to navigate; i also wish there was some way to mark stars that you've visited.
-i lost the marker for wherever the atlas wanted me to go, and now it seems like it's gone forever. i'm not too bummed about it (i love free exploring!) but maybe it would be nice to have that back.

I know buying this game might seem like a bad choice since it has a lot of negative reviews right now, but it is full of so many starting points for whatever adventure you want to have. Want to become a scholar of an alien language? Want to see how long you can survive on a world that's constantly boiling? Want to find the smallest bird in the entire galaxy? Go for it!
You have the whole galaxy in front of you. Fly through space. Chase your dreams.
