I tried soooo hard to find something bad to say about this game... .... .... .... ...

The amount of atention to detail this game has and the amount of content you get for the price ...
This is literally one of the best games on steam. It runs great , is fun , side stuff is entertaining , characters are intriguing and feel alive... it's just a sight to behold and play any yakuza game. I thought Yakuza 1 had issues but I really struggle to find any issue in Kiwami 2 ... combat can get repetetive but you have so many options to vary it up for yourself. So many heat actions to do to mix it up... it all just works so well it's impossible for me to say anything bad about this game.... Just wish it was shorter because I feel like stealing it for the price.

After finishing this game on Jedi Master difficulty I have to say few things

+ Story is fantastic! And ending was fantastic too! Really glad this is a canon story and hope the sequel is gonna let us explore more of our favourite planets!
+ Pink poncho and Blackpink BD-1 skin!
+ Graphics and motion cap is amazing. Acting is amazing as well!
+ The enemies feel alive and talk to each other while fighting you. There was one time the stormtroopers said "Don't worry we have the high ground" and that definetly cracked me up
+ Gameplay actually feels really great.
+ Lightsabers are handled amazingly! This is how a lightsaber should feel and sound. Customization is cool too!

- Minor glitches ... but to be honest some of them were hilarious and never gamebreaking
- Broken slide in dathomir
- Wish there was more planets
- Too many damn sliding sequences
- Not enough lightsaber duels

This game is fantastic! A lot of fun with friends.

But if you play killer this game is more stressful than any IRL job I did in my life.

It's very hard to describe this game with words. The loot mechanic is genius and I love it.
Pros
- Loot mechanic (cutting of equipment you want for upgrade materials and gear)
- World building. I believed everything in this factory.
- Some bossfights were fun and I enjoyed the "hardcore" way of killing bosses :)
- The multiplier mechanic rewarding you for not returning to the ops

Cons
- NPCs are literally the worst thing ever in this game. The only interesting one was Irene...
- Combat feels clunky af and hitboxes often feel unfair although you can dodge around like a madman with enough
stamina and the dodge has small amount of I-frames the hit recognition really is a big problem in this game.
- Button prompts... oh god the button prompts including some of the final parts of the game where you pray to get Overcharge prompt or you die.

All and all I killed alot of time with it and enjoyed progressing through.

This is a game that really makes me think steam should allow tipping the developers of great games. I would gladly pay 60 euros for this. But not only that ... if you buy this game you get all the DLCS for free aswell??? Hello??? Definetly a must buy if you enjoy games. I don't even like platformers ... when I started I had no idea about anything and I kept dying to falling on spikes and stuff but as I kept playing I actually improved because the game even tho it's a genre I do not prefer kept me in trying to improve because its just so so great. Game looks great , plays great and runs great.

After seeing redfall I would gladly pay 70 euros for this.

The only other game I played in the series is Divine Divinity. It feels like it was yesterday. Didn't even play the previous original sin so I had no idea what to expect. I was very scaerd the game wouldn't be for me... well... being able to set up battlefields with water for your Aerothurge mage to shock literally everything on the screen will never get old. Not to mention the hilarious RAIN outside of enemy vision until you can contaminate the entire battlefield as an undead.

The game is amazing and although there are places where you wish the game was a little bit better you have to give it to the DEV for delivering on their promises from the Kickstarter and making a solid game.

You don't get to play as a Divine tho... which sucks.

This game left me speechless alot of times. Depressed alot of times. And laughing many times aswell.
The characters are written so well you feel sympathy for the "bad guys". Never have I loved a murderer and an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ more than in this game.
It is a great Japanese Crime Drama full of great characters and solid and satisfying brawling.

I am definetly gonna continue with Yakuza Kiwami (Yakuza 1 Remake) after playing this prequel.

This game makes you feel the vampire hunger like no other... you are constantly torn between the hunger for someones blood and letting them live because they are a human being. It really feels like you are fighting that hunger the whole time. It's great.
