This game has everything I was looking for in a modern single player FPS.
Yeah it does feel a bit linear; demon engagement -> walk -> jump up some ledges -> demon engagement.
But man are those engagements fun. A rocking tune starts playing and suddenly it's hell unleashed. Fireballs flying everywhere, Hellknights charge at you, 'low ammo' pops up as you notice something even bigger spawning in the back. And it feels freaking great to blast away every single one of them, especially when you throw in some glory kills (yeah, punch the f*ckers). Really gets your adrenaline going.

I appreciate the fact that every weapon stays usefull throughout the entire game, and that's due to some nice gun modes that can be further upgraded. You also get armor mods and runes that can improve a wide variety of features of your character. A just enough rpg aspect.

It's a seriously well done shooter that does give you that badass feeling we all love, yet makes you work for it. Recommending.
