Bought this game in its earlier days, initially I was intrigued and frustrated. However, I came to overcome the learning gap and I believe that helped me enjoy it a whole lot more. Overall, a very good game, but requires some dedication to learn, guides are very helpful and mods make the experience renewed once you've done everything.

Been playing for years, I love the grand strategy game, but am displeased by the expensive DLC

Modder dropped me money without me agreeing to it, and I got banned. Thanks Rockstar, can't stop modders, so ban all involved.

Good game but settings aren't up to par. I've disabled music in the settings but it still plays in game, I thus mute my own speakers to play.

So i purchased this game after the intriguing sale. However, the game won't even launch for me (I had to keep relaunching to get the 5 minutes i need to write this review).

I Demand a refund, I paid to play a game, not for a problem.

OLD Review from ~100 Hours:

Do not purchase this game, it has a tendency to crash, and as of the past month, I'm lucky to have the game run, after trying it on a different computer, reinstalling, verifying, and blanking my pc. Rust. Hardly. Runs.

When i go to press play i'm crossing my fingers that my computer won't freeze, and i'm lucky if it doesn't. both pc's no matter what i try.

so yeah. I give up on this game

Why can't I stop coming back to this game, the beach... it calls.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this game, I joined a server, and had a fairly good base going for a bit. I was expecting it'd be seiged by another group, but a hacker joined and flooded my base with bear spawns, and kept teleporting to me and killing me until I quit. I wouldn't mind losing the base if it was done fairly, but this, I lost everything, to a fresh spawn hacker. Until you have VAC going, I won't give this game a positive review.

Honestly at the moment, This game surpasses DayZ (Played it at a friends a couple of times before I realized I shouldn't buy it), I find that there are still a number of bugs when it comes to vehicle loot, etc. However, in the short time since I purchased the game, many updates and tweeking has been done with advice from the community, which is all I really ever wanted from an apha release. The dev's are great, they're finding the bugs, listening to us, and updating the game! This alpha release is looking pretty damn good, I spawn and get a bow, kill a zombie, pick berries and run into town, find a gun, has no ammo but I can pretend, right? Player comes towards me with an axe, I break out my pistol and he takes off! I find materials to craft better gear, find friends and enemies, learn the land and the spawns, work together and compete with other players, damn it's never a dull moment.

However, I feel that since you're likely gonna survive off of berries at the start, you should be able to hotkey them or something :P I hate right clicking and left clicking on the berry 50 times to get some energy. However, that's nothing for Sony's dev's i'm sure. I would also like for players to be spaced out some more with spawns, i've spawned next to 3 or 4 players and it ends in me gettig shot/stabbed/beaten and another resapwn xD

Overall, games good, being worked on, can't say much since it'll change overnight with the updates coming out, but I'd love to see this

If you are a fan of history and/or strategy, then Shogun 2 can be a safe bet on a game. I find the Total war series to be a very fun and replayable series. The game offers you many different situations, clans, and tactics in order to achieve victory, at many different difficulties as well.

P.S:
I'm unsure if there is a demo available for this fame, but I believe there should be, perhaps a playthrough of the chosokabe begining campaign, capture the provinces known presently today as, "Tokushima," "Kagawa," "Kochi," "Ehime."
