I was hoping for enemy ai to be better at combat and use basic squad based tactics. The ai def makes better use of cover, but still very 'limited.'

brances on trees visibly not connected, tree reactions to wind is pathetic, Ragdoll usually leaves human enemies with creased seems near shoulder or tight joints, Models not properly weighted and vertexs not correctly assigned.

The dog's ability to detect nearby enemies is either broken or enemies spawn within meters of you. I can't count the number of times I had feral dogs spawn out of no where right after asking the dog to check for enemies.

I've finished the first 'minute men' mission and so far the story feels flat and I don't get the sense that anyone cares. The way the dialoge is going so far it feels like that 70k+ lines of voice recording they bragged about during E3 includes the same lines but different player name spoken.

The colors are just to bright and the game feels a little cartoony. Def not like the world got nuked and everything is grim. Feels like FO3 got hit with a rainbow and PC (politicaly correct) slapped Bethesda.

Here's hoping they made this game more easily moddable then skyrim so it won't be 6+ months for quality mods.

[UPDATE]

Its rather sad Bethesda couldn't do a better job at creating settlements then the RTS mod for FO3/NV. Unless i'm missing something, its a pain to figure out who I assigned what job when I got 18 people, can't make villagers wear what I want them to. HECK! I built a nice wooden building with all the store stalls, juke box, lights, decor, seating. And yes, I have 4 npcs with no job to see if that was the problem. NOPE!

Crafting is weak compared to how they advertised it. Not enough varying parts, one skin, the layering system is a guessing game on what qualifies as under clothing and outer clothing, 'upgrades' alterations you do are like Skyrim's enchanting/work bench improvements.

Bethesda, pls release the tools modders need to complete YOUR game!

[2015 Review]
Talked kid into selling his '$20' (RL money) robot in the garage to reclaim his blocks. (He didn't want to delete block by block to rebuild) 10/10 - would do it again

Spent a night trolling the chat about God and butter. Then ads on websites started displaying God and butter related content. 10/10 - would give info out again

Passed up buying a game on sale to get prem account on this game. 10/10 - would do it again

[Current Review]

Still fun to troll other players. Not worth any real money

--UPDATE--

Game is still full of bugs, glitches, and hackers. Unless you play on empty servers. You'll be killed by a group of players that sole purpose is to ruin your experience.

\o/ BURN BABY BURN!!! \o/

I'm a little mixed on this game. It is very fun, but way to simple. The simple combat is nice, but the dungeans are boring. So many items to sell but so little selve space. Would buy it again just because of the ability to run a shop and go dungean diving.

The Good:
+ Capitalism!
+ number of items
+ simple gameplay
+ combat

The Bad:
- A little to simple
- Boring charactive development
- Lack of freedom to add counters
- Dungeans are boring and too easy

10/10 - Just the negative butt-hurt reviews makes this game fun. This game is refreshing to all those games that you can beat by using a step by step guide. You're the slave, and this is your master. This game makes you luv it. Being punished never felt so good and made you want more. The negative reviewers just haven't accepted the role of a slave yet.

Positive:

- You can't do a, b, and c to win.
- You're NOT some god that walks over the ai
- replayability
- I like being spanked by the ai (wink wink)
- Pause of breath as you struggle in vain.
- Countless tries on normal and only made it to the flagship once to be chastised

The further you get into the game, the more you realize you're wasting your time. Why do I say this? What good is a mmo without players? Think of this game as a re-imagine of EVE-Online, but without the player base.

PROS:

Love the concept and the indy level of the game
graphics aren't that bad

CONS:
Not enough players
vet players don't help the in game market
imo p2w with the ability to pay real money for increase in learning speed

I been playing the old UFO series games for a long time now. XCOM has always push the bar further than the UFO series. Just to bad the XCOM games needed a dos box. So excited XCOM has finally made one for the modern computer.
