So I've got a story to tell you. It starts with all of the Techland developers going into a conference room.

Developer 1 - "Ok guys, so we've got this great game with lots of zombie killing, a pretty good story, and the ability to explore city-type environments and traverse buildings using parkour skills which make it really fun just running around and climbing on stuff. We even have an entire skill tree which is completely dedicated to climbing and agility! Really well done, that's probably THE thing that sets us apart from Dead Island."

Developer 2 - "Yeah well done guys. Ok, so now lets brainstorm some ideas for this "The Following DLC" which is included in the Season Pass."

Developer 3 - "I've got an idea, let's make a flat farmland, with vast distances between anything that you can climb on."

Developer 1 - "Well no, the thing that made our game so fun was that it was very enjoyable going from one questpoint to the next while you were running around the city, climbing to the highest point and then jumping into bags of trash and using ziplines to quickly get around. Did you listen to anything I said?"

Developer 3 - "Oh! You know the other thing that would be really cool about flat farmlands? It will be almost impossible to be out at night since there is nothing to hide behind and no way to lose the trail of the volatiles!"

Developer 1 - "That doesn't sound like a good thing at all. Can you hear me or are you just ignoring me?"

Developer 3 - "Oh and we could do a car! I like cars! Let's add Cars!"

Developer 1 - "Well, I guess a car isn't that bad of an idea. Although, it does take away a lot of the feeling of mobility and
free-flowing movement in a parkour zombie game. Actually let's not include that. Besides, we would just basically be taking yet another idea from Dead Island."

Developer 3 - "Wah!"

Developer 2 - "What is he doing?"

Developer 1 - "I don't know."

Developer 3 - "WAH!"

Developer 3 - "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!'

Developer 2 - "Jesus what's wrong with him?"

Developer 1 - "Oh my god! Alright! We'll add cars and the stupid flat farmland!"

Developer 3 - "Yay!"

Developer 1 - "Sigh..."

Developer 2 - "Sigh..."

Developer 3 - "Also, lets not give people who buy the season pass any other DLC after the Following comes out."

Developer 1 - "WHAT?!!"

Developer 2 - "Yeah man, don't be like that."

Developer 3 - "Well, by the time we finish those other DLCs, it will be after the end of the season. So they'll obviously have to buy them separately." **He said, as he banged his head on the table 3 times**

Developer 1 - "Well, a 'Season Pass' is more of a metaphor used in popular gaming culture and does not actually carry the literal meaning of The Season. Any other game who sells a season pass gives any and all DLC to the season pass holders, regardless of how long it takes for them to work on it."

Developer 2 - "Yeah, because if that were the case, we could sell a Season Pass, then work on something and not release it until after the season is over, and then just say that everybody is out of luck and will have to purchase it separately."

Developer 3 **Falls out of his chair and hits his head on the floor**

Developer 1 - "I mean look at 'Seasons' of television shows. Some shows release all of the episodes of their season in a couple of months, while others release them in a period of a year or longer. These days, the term 'Season' is almost meaningless, and to use that technicality to cheat people out of DLC seems pretty scummy."

Developer 3 - "BUT I LIKE MONEY!!!" **He said, biting his hand harder than he probably should have.**

Developer 1 - "But those things we are planning on releasing are going to be pretty cheap DLCs. We would probably make more money in the long run if we don't alienate our playerbase right now by not giving them this cheap DLC."

Developer 3 - "BUT MONEY IS BETTER WHEN I GET IT NOW!" **He said, throwing his laptop on the ground.**

Developer 2 - "Who...Why...I don't even..."

Developer 1 - "Fine. Just Fine. Whatever, I don't care anymore."

Developer 3 - "MONEY!"

This story adequately expresses my frustration.

Alright, thanks.

Yeah, the season pass was more meant to be purchased before the following enhanced edition of Dying Light was released.

@duce303

So the only real content in the Season Pass that is not included in Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition is "The Bozak Horde"?
Duce303 13 Jun, 2017 @ 5:40pm
Buying the Dying Light Season Pass includes the following:

Dying Light - The Following
Dying Light - Bozak Horde
Dying Light - Ultimate Survivor Bundle (which includes some costumes and low-tier weapons)

You won't get the skin pack or the 3 other bundles (as of 2nd May 2017).

I'm still confused about the pricing and nomenclature Techland is using.

The Season Pass contains The Following--is that correct? So if one has Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition, he is at least in part wasting money on the Season Pass because he already has The Following....am I right?

Further, is there any actual content in the Season Pass that is not included in Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition, besides things like skins which I am not interested in?

But The Following was pretty fun. Me and a friend played through it together, the base game and the dlc.
