I thought RE6 was bad, this is like RE6 Part 2.

I had COVID recently, and I'd rather get that again than do another campaign on this game.

If there is an engineer yelling "Satchel! Don't go forward!" you should ideally follow these instructions.

Took me 4 hours to complete the campaign, but by god was it a patriotic 4 hours. God bless the Great United States of America

Between the lack of fun endgame activity to constant bugs that cause game breaking issues, I wouldn't recommend anyone start playing.

I had fun going 1-60, but crafting takes forever, levelling life skills (i.e. mining, logging, etc) is so restrictive and boring, and now they are bringing a change to their watermark system so if you don't have your "expertise" higher than your equipped gear that gear gets it's effectiveness dropped to that expertise level. You can boost this with their coming gypsum orbs, but one can only farm mats ONCE per day and only craft ONE type ONCE per day. Don't know why they are restricting grind in an MMO game, feels like Destiny again.

It's not bad for a one-time buy, but servers are slowly depopulating and coming changes to endgame don't look to solve any issues. Unfortunate.

I had fun and the internet hates me for it

Really fun co-op game, with a lot of progression and great atmosphere. If Aliens: Isolation encapsulated the first Alien movies feeling of loneliness and seclusion, this game encapsulates the sequels action and overwhelming threat. Looking forward to new campaigns and see if this evolves.

10/10, would get shot in the back by team mates again

Brilliant entry to the series and great follow-up to RE7. Great story, fun gunplay similar to RE7, nice set pieces, and amazing characters. If you wanted RE4, but modernised this is a game for you.

DLC Edit:
The Shadows of Rose DLC is such a nice touch on all the parts that made Resident Evil what it is. The story is wonderful, each section is unique and brings the survival and the horror. Wondeful, can't wait to see what is the next story coming up.

Extremely charming and made me laugh (and have existential crisis') throughout. Fantastic rogue-like. Fantastic story. Couldn't recommend more.
