A wonderful party-based dungeon crawler with plenty of content!
Like most of it's kin it has some seriously challenging moments. And has moments where it does not hold your hand.
Tied together with management style gameplay the game demands you to explore thoroughly to progress and you can easily find yourself spending half an hour or more scouring each floor for secrets.

An all-together well formed game, the addition of voiced dialogue and plenty quirky characters make the inbetween dungeon crawl moments feel more meaningful, even if the story only truely opens up in the later stages.

A surprisingly high score considering how critical I can be.

It's more black survival, the added features when it comes to items and routing means it's easier to get into, it's fairly damm addicting.

if you've played mobas and enjoyed the duelling aspect but not a big fan of the nature then this will be right up your alley! (which is part of my Jacky route)

So, let me start out by saying I am not done with this game, not by a long shot (I hope ;P)

So far the game has been... Everything I've been missing since DS1, sure it's not "Souls-like" in it's story-telling but the variety of weapons and such does not leave anything to be desired, there is a clear sense of progression and a ton of interesting abilities and such to be found. Combat seems a bit onfocused in difficulty, it waxes and wanes like the tides but at all times remain enjoyable.

The real seller in my book is the story, at least so far it has been an adventure.
The characters are interesting and the whole reasonining for it all great.
I am writing this review after down-right tearing up after a story moment, not because of sadness nor happiness but rather a fulfilled sense. Like the story matters... I give this game 10/10, you should play it 100%.

I've played this game... ALOT, like you wouldn't fathom how much of my time has been spent in this game.
The game was great, would still be fun to play but alas... You will not find any players in here.
