A solid game with fun interesting mechanics when came out back in 2007, I still enjoy playing this game today. The Story and characters are ok, the story isn't anything to special, but it gets the job done. The characters can be over the top and over dramatic, but it feels like that's what they were going for. Honestly the characters feel a little like metal gear with the way some of the bad guys act and the comical dialogue it makes for an enjoyable watch. The cutscenes in this game were awesome for the time they came out and are great to watch. The gun play is and grappling mechanic are fun and straight forward, the levels also use the mechanics to their fullest rewarding players who like to explore. The freezing mechanic was really interesting and was a cool way to add tension in the environment while fighting for your life. The different mechs and their mechanics add even more fun diversity to the game, and they are really cool. Some of the boss fights can be slightly annoying and seem unfair but I find most of them unique and really fun. This game is not perfect and can be difficult because it doesn't hold the players hand, but it was ahead of its time in the ideas it brought to the table and is worth one playthrough.

I just finished up the campaign and sure, PF have some good things going for it - the core gunplay is fun and the retro-style graphics works pretty well but it really feels like playing the beta version of a game. The game is obviously inspired by both Duke Nukem, Deus Ex and Half Life (in no particular order) and when everything works as it should, the game really is a great homage to the giants of yesterday but all too often, it fails to maintain the same pace.

The level design leaves a lot to be desired - I got stuck a dozen or so times since the game is just bad at communicating what it wants you to do. Enemies frequently gets stuck themselves in the enviroment and while they usually can hit you with frightening accuracy, sometimes they will just stand around staring into the sunset, waiting for you to put them out of their misery. Other bugs are worse - I had to restart the level on two occasions as the game didn't allow me to proceed and certain weapons effect, like the pistols alt-fire (the stun gun) stopped working half the time, so did the SMG when I wanted to dual wield them. Throwing your bowling grenades can sometimes work wonders and sometimes they will bounce off invisible walls and go in another direction.

Then of course we have the actual story. I have no idea what the story was about. It was so poorly told I honestly don't know why the characters did what they did. I don't know if the devs just ran out of money mid development or something because it just feels unfinished. Not a bad game but a very unpolished one. Buy at your own risk

If you're looking for a good zombie roguelite with crafting and a meta this is the game.
*Same version as Steam version.*

The game has echoes of Orgeon Trail as you'll drive a car from location to location and you'll need to find gas at each location to progress further on the randomly generated map. Each location is different, ranging from small neighborhoods to large, safehouses, military base, etc. You'll need to loot houses, bodies, abadoned cars for scrap and other times which can be crafted to more useful items, things like gun attachments, bandages, melee weapons.

The meta of the game is that you'll find supply caches that you can use now or radio in for later use with another surviror, and books (knowledge) that allows you to unlock perks for future surviors. Perks like faster running, less infection time, etc.

Every survivor will die because they're infected but you start with one anti-virus that slows the infection rate and you'll find more while exploring but they're rare. However, as the infection progresses you'll mutate and each mutation gives you a perk. Perks can range from harder melee hits to faster running, to giving off less of a scent so the zombies don't detect you as easily.

Flying Wild Hog has been building a reputation for themselves recently, with the modern Shadow Warrior titles, and now Evil West- that reputation includes some key characteristics: a bit corny, a bit janky, but a TON OF FUN.
Evil West is not a triple-A budget title, but the design shows me a team that is made of people who are themselves avid gamers, and not just marketeers trying to make a clone of whatever is currently popular. The gameplay flow reminds me of some of my favorite action classics: God of War, the Batman Arkham series, Ratchet and Clank, and even the LEGO games, from time to time. The sequences are primarily scripted, but in the BEST way possible, not in a way that feels like youre in the passenger seat. The level spaces are designed with lively encounters, and secret collectibles. The protagonist has an extremely varied and creative arsenal of abliities, all packaged in beautifully rendered models, textures, and animations.

Dont come into the game looking for something perfect or groundbreaking. The game has its little moments of loading hitches, or enemies getting smushed through a wall-- but nothing more than any classic game of the same style. But I'm not here for perfection, or badly optimized "photo-realism"... I'm here for FUN, and Evil West delivers on fun. It's been a while since I've seen a game that rings this true to the classic action game formula, and really delivers on it. I hope Flying Wild Hog continues their recent trend. Excellent work, folks!

After just 39 hours in 5 days, the Elite Edition Upgrade has made my experience way smoother and more immersive. This isn’t just about looking tactical it’s the actual equipment loadout and stash space that really sets it apart. Starting with a massive locker (10x45), a secure lockbox, and a solid $5000 in-game cash means I’m not spending my first few missions scavenging for basic supplies.

The Elite Edition gear is stacked: you get a DMR and pistol with suppressors, plenty of magazines and ammo, grenades, tactical devices, helmet, armor plate carrier, backpack, belt, NVGs with mounts and adapters, plus medical supplies ranging from medkits to surgery kits and blood bags. It’s like showing up to the fight with a full toolbox instead of a Swiss Army knife. Compared to the Standard and Tactical Editions, the Elite gear offers serious flexibility and lets you focus on strategy instead of gear grinding. If you want a deeper, more authentic tactical shooter experience with a strong head start, this upgrade delivers. Plus, supporting the devs with this purchase feels good because they clearly keep improving the game.

Gray Zone Warfare – Tactical Edition Upgrade is easily one of the better game upgrades I’ve purchased in a long time. Not only does it support a dev team that’s clearly passionate and responsive, but the bonus content is actually useful and well thought-out. The extra gear gave me a solid head start without making things feel unbalanced or “pay-to-win”it's just enough to get you out of the jungle alive a few more times. The items are clean, grounded, and perfectly match the game’s realistic vibe. The added stash space is a lifesaver too; I no longer feel like I’m playing a minigame of "Inventory Tetris" every time I come back from a raid. If you’re enjoying the base game and plan to stick with it, the Tactical Edition Upgrade is 100% worth it. You get meaningful extras, a more comfortable early-game experience, and you help fuel the continued development of one of the best tactical shooters out right now. Solid purchase all around.

I bought Gray Zone Warfare five days ago. I now have 39 hours in it. My family thinks I’ve gone off-grid. My dog doesn’t recognize me. I have MRE crumbs on my keyboard and I reflexively check corners when walking into my kitchen. This game? It’s that good! Gray Zone Warfare has quickly become one of my favorite tactical shooters, and the latest update has only made it better. The devs have clearly been listening to the community. The performance has improved across the board, AI feels smarter and more reactive, and the gunplay is incredibly satisfying. Every firefight feels tense and meaningful, with realistic weapon handling and immersive sound design that truly puts you in the moment. The updated mission system and world design offer a ton of replayability, whether you’re running solo recon or coordinating with a squad. The map is detailed and atmospheric, with dense jungles, eerie abandoned villages, and plenty of opportunities for tactical movement. I’m constantly impressed by how grounded and immersive the experience is, without sacrificing fun. If you enjoy methodical gameplay, teamwork, and a serious shooter that rewards patience and planning, Gray Zone Warfare absolutely delivers. This latest update proves the game is headed in a great direction, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Whether you grew up with Kingdom Hearts or you're finally diving in for the first time, this collection is the definitive way to experience the magic, heartbreak, and keyblade-swinging chaos. Square Enix delivered a nostalgia-loaded, content-rich bundle that covers nearly the entire early saga and it hits hard.

Gameplay
This bundle includes six experiences
KH Final Mix
KH Re:Chain of Memories
KH II Final Mix
KH 358/2 Days (cinematic)
KH Birth by Sleep Final Mix
KH Re:coded (cinematic)

The gameplay across these titles evolves dramatically. KH1 is clunky but charming, KH2 smooths out the combat into one of the best action JRPG experiences ever made, and Birth by Sleep refines it with the Command Deck system. You’ll bounce between real-time combat, platforming, exploration, and even card-based battling in Re:Chain of Memories. It’s a bit wild, sure. But once you “get” Kingdom Hearts, it’s ridiculously fun fast-paced, flashy, and full of satisfying upgrades.

🗝️ KINGDOM HEARTS Final Mix
Story:
The inaugural entry introduces Sora, a spirited teenager whose world is shattered when his friends, Riku and Kairi, are swept away by darkness. Armed with the Keyblade, Sora embarks on a quest across various Disney worlds to find them, teaming up with Donald Duck and Goofy. The narrative masterfully intertwines original characters with Disney and Final Fantasy elements, setting the stage for the series' intricate lore.

Gameplay:
This action RPG features real-time combat, platforming, and puzzle-solving. The Final Mix version enhances the original with additional content, including new enemies, abilities, and cutscenes. While the camera controls can be cumbersome, the game's charm and innovative mechanics shine through.

Audio:
Yoko Shimomura's score is iconic, with tracks like "Dearly Beloved" and "Hollow Bastion" leaving lasting impressions. Voice acting is commendable, bringing depth to both original and Disney characters.

Verdict:
A nostalgic journey that, despite some dated mechanics, remains a beloved classic.

🗝️ KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories
Story:
Set immediately after the first game, Sora and his companions enter Castle Oblivion, where memories are manipulated, and new foes emerge. The narrative delves deeper into the series' mythology, introducing Organization XIII and exploring themes of identity and memory.

Gameplay:
Departing from traditional combat, this installment employs a card-based battle system, requiring strategic deck-building and real-time action. While innovative, the mechanics can be polarizing among fans.

Audio:
The soundtrack reuses familiar themes, with some new compositions enhancing the mysterious atmosphere of Castle Oblivion. Voice acting is limited but effective in conveying the story's emotional weight.

Verdict:
A unique entry that offers deeper lore and experimental gameplay, appealing to series enthusiasts.

🗝️ KINGDOM HEARTS II Final Mix
Story:
Sora awakens from a year-long slumber to confront new threats, including the enigmatic Organization XIII. The narrative balances lighthearted Disney adventures with darker, more complex themes, culminating in a climactic showdown that resonates emotionally.

Gameplay:
Refining its predecessor's mechanics, KHII offers smoother combat, introducing Drive Forms and Reaction Commands for dynamic battles. The Final Mix version adds new bosses, areas, and challenges, enhancing replayability.

Audio:
Shimomura's compositions reach new heights, with tracks like "The Other Promise" and "Roxas" standing out. Voice performances are strong, with notable contributions from both returning and new cast members.

Verdict:
Often hailed as the series' pinnacle, KHII combines compelling storytelling with polished gameplay.

🗝️ KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (Cinematics Only)
Story:
This narrative focuses on Roxas, Sora's Nobody, exploring his time in Organization XIII and his bonds with Axel and Xion. The story delves into themes of friendship, purpose, and identity, providing context to Roxas's actions in KHII.

Gameplay:
While the original DS game featured mission-based gameplay with a unique panel system for customization, this HD collection presents the story through remastered cinematics, omitting interactive elements.

Audio:
The cinematic presentation includes voice acting and a soundtrack that enhances the emotional depth of the narrative.

Verdict:
A poignant tale that enriches the overarching story, though the lack of gameplay may disappoint some fans.

🗝️ KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep Final Mix
Story:
A prequel set a decade before the original game, it follows Terra, Aqua, and Ventus—Keyblade apprentices entangled in a saga that sets the foundation for future events. The intertwined narratives explore themes of friendship, ambition, and sacrifice.

Gameplay:
Introducing the Command Deck system, players can customize abilities and spells, leading to strategic combat. Each character offers a distinct playstyle, and the Final Mix version adds new content, including bosses and areas.

Audio:
The soundtrack blends new compositions with familiar motifs, capturing the game's emotional highs and lows. Voice acting delivers strong performances, particularly in pivotal scenes.

Verdict:
A robust entry that deepens the series' lore and offers engaging, varied gameplay.

🗝️ KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded (Cinematics Only)
Story:
Set after KHII, the story involves a digitized Sora exploring a corrupted version of Jiminy Cricket's journal. While it revisits familiar worlds, the narrative introduces concepts that bridge to future titles.
GameSpot

Gameplay:
The original game featured diverse gameplay styles, including platforming and turn-based combat. In this collection, the story is conveyed through cinematics, focusing on key plot points.

Audio:
Voice acting and music are consistent with series standards, enhancing the cinematic experience.

Verdict:
An optional but informative entry that fills narrative gaps, best suited for dedicated fans.

Gameplay
At its core, Darktide is a gritty, brutal, and endlessly replayable co-op shooter. It’s Left 4 Dead meets Warhammer 40K with a heavy dose of melee combat and somehow even more heresy. The weight of each weapon, the roar of a bolter, the meaty thwack of a power maul it all feels satisfying and purposeful. The combat forces teamwork. Lone wolves don’t survive long, and the blend of ranged and melee threats keeps every run tense. The new class trees and specialization options give real depth, letting you build your character how you want.

Content
Content-wise, Darktide has come a long way since launch. What started as a pretty barebones experience has evolved into a deep, flexible game with replayability to spare. Fatshark has been consistently rolling out free updates, with new missions, maps, gear, and most importantly major class system overhauls that actually listen to player feedback. Weekly missions, modifiers, crafting tweaks, and constant balance patches have kept things fresh. New enemies, mission types, and even event-based content help break up the grind. And the best part? It’s not locked behind a paywall all of it’s included if you own the game.

Visuals & Sound
Visually, Darktide is a masterclass in grimdark aesthetics. Hive city Tertium is towering, disgusting, and somehow beautiful in its decaying dystopia. Every level is dripping with atmosphere rust, blood, flickering lights, gothic statues, and pipes hissing in the dark. The sound design deserves an award. The choir kicks in mid-battle, boltguns crack like thunder, enemies screech with horrifying clarity, and your team never stops yelling ridiculous one-liners. Each faction feels distinct and every firefight sounds like an apocalyptic opera.

Final Thoughts
Darktide is the kind of game that launched rough but stuck the landing over time. Fatshark has proven they care. major updates have reshaped the game without charging players, which is rare these days. The gameplay loop is fun, the world is immersive, and with mod support on the way and more content coming, the future looks bright.
