Do not know, may it's the best of AOW, may be AOW:SW was better. Anyways. they do not make games like this anymore. AOW 3 is worse.

Try Starcom: Unknown Space too.

Now it requires sketchy Epic online services installed before you can run the game. I never agreed to it when I was purchasing this game, but now it is too late to refund.

Still needs a lot of work. Bugs everywhere.

Not the Wizardry 7, but still good game. Old graphics, but it's makes me nostalgic.

Collection of mods of various quality released as game, so modded players can have Steam achivements. Pfft. Back to the X3:TC then.
