A quirky, and silly platformer with some really creative and fun gameplay mechanics. The story is fun, but also somewhat epic? Or something. I gotta play more, I'll update this review at some point. Anyway, story good, gameplay good, get it.

Awesome. A fast-paced, pixel-art platform fighter (that is, a Smash-like, though this game is about as far from Super Smash Bros. as you can get). Violent and challenging, the combat is intense and the character variety is great.

Cute and fun. A unique platformer with a straightforward but interesting mechanic. Nothing too special, but a good game for a fair price.

A must buy for Metroid fans. An amazing experience from top to bottom. The variety of tools and weapons is wonderful, and even better: there are multiple items that solve each obstacle. For example, sometimes you'll get the Power Jump, sometimes you'll get Double Jump. Each run will have different items, switching between similar items. This makes run differences even greater. You'll constantly be encountering new things, new combos, different strategies.

And on top of all this, the developer is still adding new content. The secret boss added after release was just...well, I won't spoil it.

Seriously one of my all time favorite indie games.

You know, when I first saw this game advertised, I wasn't sure I'd like it. But I am so glad I gave it a chance. This game is awesome. It's so good, I had to buy it again here on Steam even though I already owned it PSN (hence the relatively low play time). I don't care that I've died over 500 times and still haven't seen the last area. I don't care if I never beat it, this game is still worth every penny. It's very hard, but oh so rewarding. The procedural generation works so well; it never feels repetitive or cheap. And there are so many secrets to discover, tricks you learn over time. Just try it out. You'll like it, trust me.
