They changed the ESRB rating and announced a cash shop a few weeks after launch so reviews wouldn't mention it and people who don't buy games with cash shops in them would buy this game. Extremely scummy behavior. The whole point of an ESRB rating is to inform and protect consumers against things like this, changing the ESRB rating after launch should automatically make a game eligible for refunds.

Pretty great so far. A full-blown polished RPG and basically an evolution on the genre pokemon should've taken ages ago. My only gripe with the game is that it takes way too long to unlock multiplayer. Around 6-7 hours provided you just rush through the story and don't spend too much time hunting eggs.

It's essentially a Rhythm game but instead of dancing you do kungfu. At first you're just reacting to whatever comes into your range but after a while you'll see that there is actually a surprising amount of depth to how you choose to clear whats on the screen. The music is good, the graphics are cheep and cheesy but in a good way, very reminiscent of those old newgrounds stick figure videos from the early 2000's.

It's super satisfying to play and it feels really good getting better at it. It's well worth the money in my opinion and if you decide to buy it I hope to see you on the leaderboards.

Early Access Review
I was optimistic about this game. The aesthetic seemed appealing and as someone who finds Pubg to tedious and can't get into the building of fortnite I thought this could be a Battle Royale for me.

What I got is a shameless cash grab, this game even as an early access title needed more development time. It's absolutely shameless that they are willing to enable microtransactions within the game without even giving all the buildings full textures, finishing the female character option, and making movement a glitchy "shocky" experience. In my opinion, the moment you start charging money for ingame currency you should be held to certain standards, and this game fails almost all of them.

It's a damn shame too because I do like some of the looting mechanics and arcadey feel of the game but this ♥♥♥♥ shouldn't be allowed on steam. People are going to spend hundreds of dollars on ingame characters to look cool and I would say there's a high chance this game never gets properly finished.

TLDR : It's a scam. But don't take my word for it, it's free. Try it out and maybe you will like it.

Only 5 hours in but it's super addicting so far. The game runs pretty smooth despite being beautiful on my old-ish pc.

If you're returning from Virmintide 1 these are the things you'll wanna know :
-The level variety and design is a lot better.
-Huge enemy variety compared to the first game
-Lot's of character development between 3 "classes" per hero and a talent tree for each.
-Lootboxes will always drop gear relevant to your hero now and rarity is less random.

If you're new to this series :
You pick from five heroes each with their own gear, spec and playstyle as you undertake thirteen levels. The gameplay you can expect is a hack&slash with an addicting loot system and near endless replayability as you try to to see how strong you can make your hero. The whole game is in co-op but finding a party has taken me less than 3 seconds each time, though, if you can drum them up bringing friends is recommended. There's a lot of optional challanges to find within the game with extra loot and some will take a lot of coordination to complete.

In short : It's a beautiful multiplayer game that's fun with pugs but amazing with friends. It's pretty cheap too, but don't let this discourage you, it's more polished and has more content than most 60$ games.

I was entranced for the entire duration. It's snack-sized, but very filling.

When I first heard a few years ago that Creative Assembly was going to make a warhammer Total war game I was excited but I did not think we would get the insane amount of attention to detail that we have gotten. These people have dug in very deep to give us as much of the 30+ year lore the Warhammer franchise have pushed out and I am convinced that by the time they're done, they will have every faction, unit, lord or hero in these games. As for the this game itself :

>More content than the original had at launch
>Conflict is constantly encouraged, The first game often had long 50+ turn chunks in which nothing happened, this one does not.
>The 4 base races in this game are all very exciting and different.
>Runs alot smoother than the first one did while upping the graphical fidelity alot.
>Owners of both games will get a free campaign update to combine the two maps.

It's hard for me to think of something negative to say, especially with this game being so mod-friendly you can pretty much change anything you don't like. Definately give this game a try and don't be to intimidated by the specs, it runs better on low spec machines than most games coming out.

It's a bit lacking in singleplayer content, especially when compared to a game like Injustice 2. Furthermore, this being a 2.5 year old game ( it's been out that long in Japanese/Korean arcades ) The character models do look a little bit dated. However, with the bad stuff out of the way this is the tekken we all know and love sculpted to mechanical perfection. It feels immensely satisfying to play wether you're a veteran and a newbie and the explosive sound effects and tight gameplay make it as hype as ever.

Excellent game, would've liked a few more singleplayer modes especially seeing tekken has usually always been filled to the brim with them, but if you don't mind that fighting games don't get much better than Tekken 7.
