Skyrim >>>>> Dragon Age by a zillion miles (Dragon Age is nothing like Mass Effect it's simply Diablo with lots of talking). Star Ruler is not worth $10 - a weak indie title. You might like X3: Reunion but I found it was like EvE - only all the boring bits, i.e. repetitive missions, ratting, mining without the zany human antics to enliven things.

Looking at your wishlist - IL2 CoD is worse than the old one and terribly buggy. Avoid. Wargame:EE is awesome though - it's the best RTS since CoH and about battle tactics rather than ninja building skills.

Have you got BF:BC2? Been playing it a bit on weekends... if the 10GB dl is offputting I can copy across my steam file

I'm downloading the demo when I get around to it. It looks a little fast paced for my sailing desires - like little motor boats zipping around each other. I've played that sort of game before.
