Beta release was sub-par, but as of July the game is very solid. Terraforming, crafting, building, PVP, Zombie killing, etc.... Everything you would want in this type of game, and there is a decent single player aspect.

The best time i've had playing a MMORPG since Final Fantasy XI. The developers managed to clean up much of the tedious aspects for questing. The crafting and resource gathering system is phenomenal as well. I've only scratched the surface, and expect hundreds if not thousands of hours of gameplay for New World.

Fun game with a ton of freedoms... it just needs to be optimized.

This is the most toxic, furustratingly competitive game. I love it. No... i live it. The game makes you want to get resources and components in order to arm yourself with the best possible gear and homestead. The addition of faster transportation and electricity has been phenomenal. If you want to play the best combination of farming, crafting, pvp, building, engineering, trolling, exploring, etc... this is the game for you.
