Why are there monsters in my Viking lumberjack simulator? All jokes aside, 10/10 gameplay wise, it's a lot of fun, more fun with more people. The only issue I have right now is the desyncs ever since the updates. 5 of us had been playing with no problems up until the updates, now 2 of us can't play without issues. I'd still recommend the game.

Fun game, grind isn't that rough, following the steps to get recipes for crafting is tougher than the grind itself.. The biggest Con, the Donkey is a Scumunist and we need an option to kick him in the balls and make him shut up and work.

I can say if you want a game that looks decent where you play as a dinosaur then yes, get the game, however don't expect a thriving world full of AI to munch on, if you don't play online you're not going to see a whole lot. I'd suggest the devs work on the AI spawns so they can try to create a realistic thriving environment for players that don't care for online. They'd see a major boost in sales if they made it capable of soloing as your favorite dino. That and a mode where you can set the spawns to time period Dinos only, imagine say soloing as a Ceratosaurus in the Jurassic seeing just how long you can make it? Can you get good enough to make yourself the apex predator over the Allosaurus?

After waiting for years finally, finally here it is and I can't say I'm disappointed, I'm not it's great so far, are there bugs? Yes like trying to raid a hideout and the game loading forever and freezing that's fine I can live with that, but the game has been worth the wait and it's a lot of fun.

Games a lot of fun, I'm sure people will find some fault in it but a MMORPG that doesn't require a monthly fee with a good community where you don't constantly grief newbs is a lot of fun. <<<This was 2020

Now in 2024 I can't recommend the game. From broken servers crossing over to test servers, to having issues with user names 6 years old. To support being completely robotic, and if the responses I was given were from humans God help us all.

In a game where you have Molag Bal the Lord of Brutality the King of R*pe. The word "Genocide" (or maybe Reaper is also offensive I wouldn't know they never answered my question) in your username that is 6 years old suddenly warrants a ban, without warning. Cool, perhaps it's an algorithm issue, send 2 messages without a single human response. I think after 10 years the game has fallen under the same overly sensitive crowd, offended by their own shadow. The same people that even if they reviewed your case couldn't discern or explain the very policies they're enforcing.

Therefore I can't recommend the game, because at a whim they'll just up and decide you're a problem and ban you no matter how much money or time you've spent. There's no reason to waste your time and money on illogical practices in a game where exploits are rampant and the people that exploited the beta server crossover probably got in less trouble funneling trillions of gold to their normal accounts than you for having a username some NPC or algorithm was offended by.

Want to play ARK but enslave people and climb cliffs? Want to go Barbarian and cut people in half with a two handed sword? Want to worship some twisted psycho goddess and wear a skull mask? Want to have a bunch of naked women dance all over your castle? Well this is the game for you.

PS watch out for Cannibals. They're everywhere.

I love this game, but it needs multiplayer for the campaign map. The game would then be perfect.

I've worked through the disasters that creative assembly has put forth into the gaming world such as Empire total war, loved it except the fact they lied about multiplayer campaign and then you couldn't even be the colonies in the grand campaign. So no revolting against the British.

Then there was NPTW improved but limited in the fact it was the same game no matter how much you played it, France super powerful you not so much. So the campaigns always played out the same for me.

Then I was suckered into Rome II. Oh what joy that heap of a dumpster fire was. Even though i loved it, it was fresh new and seemed to work.. some times, it still has random freezes that crash my computer.

Now Attila, finally go around to getting it. Loved everything about it, everything felt smoother, looked better felt like it ran better, everything was great first battle was great and yet I can't get it to stop randomly crashing my entire PC. Whether it be diplomacy or a recent event the game just freezes and then the entire computer locks up.

Tried all those steps recommended nothing changed, still a glitchy clonky mess that CA will never finish. They should go back to gaming school and learn how to make a functioning game before taking on the next project. I mean Jesus, you'd think by now Attila would be patched and run smooth for anyone.
