Who knew an open-world dark souls with jumping and horseback riding was just what the doctor ordered? It's not without its flaws though: PvP is a mess, the late-game has pacing issues, and there is shameless boss/enemy recycling. Despite the flaws, the visuals are gorgeous, the moment-to-moment gameplay is solid and satisfying, and raging at your badly-timed rolls only sometimes got old. I'd give it a solid 9/10.

Hey thanks for the input but unfortunately i have to disagree with you on this one bucko, not only is the gameplay dog shit (bosses limited to 1-2 phases rather then the industry standard 3-4, unable to pet dogs lack of any meaningful romance options) but i find the combat boring and repetitive. time after time enemies kill me due to there over tuned health/ damage output. perhaps with the implementation of a mini map or real checkpoints i would CONSIDER playing this game however until they patch this unfinished piece of garbage i wont be able to give this game any higher than 4/10

please refrain from reviewing games when clearly you lack even a basic understanding of how they work i would suggest you play a real game like the hit classic Amongus
